You know I watch in sadness as our southern neighbors drift into oblivion.  I watch more people vote for American idol than they do president.  I watch people hopelessly addicted to the internet, facebook, reality shows, hollywood, sports, drugs, sex whatever all while the powers that be drive the country into the ground.  Trillions spent overseas while the countries infrastructure crumbles.  Its not a democrat or republican thing, its the entire establishment and wall street.

Almost three years ago, the federal government gave the U.S. banks almost 1 trillion dollars and it has increased several times since then.  What did the banks do with this money?  They sure as hell didn't lend it to anyone.  They won't invest in entrepreneurship cause they know everything is gonna be made in china from now on.  They hung on to it and paid themselves and invested in companies moving overseas.  Now the government wants to cut your entitlements saying they are not affordable.  Once again, they try to get the little guy to take the haircut not the establishment.  Where is wall street's haircut?  This is truly capitalism run amok.

A trillion dollars could have been invested right at home, rebuilding infrastructure, educating people, creating renewable energy - things that would have created jobs and built a future for the country.

Americans you have to get those establishment politicians out of there if you are ever going to rise again.  Anyone that has been in office more than 2 terms should be turfed.

Read about the way the Communists take over. It's pretty obvious where we are headed. I'm sure they will call it something else to ease our minds though so don't worry. Redistribuiton of wealth, standing up for the little guy, liberal progressive...
What ever it takes to break down the infrastructure of the greatest country the world ever knew. It will all be like a dream, a little fairy tale that couldn't have possibly been real.

that's strange... from every piece of research I've done on fascism, it almost always starts off with people promising the government to do everything for them.

Sounds more like a Democratic and Republican thing...... or maybe just government in general.

Make it illegal for the government to steal your money and the problems will go away.

                  1) A lot of those things were done under Democratic administrations. Many of them were done under Republican administrations. But whichever group STARTED the item in question, the other group did NOT END the practice.

                  2) I like Hayek's "The Road to Serfdom". He spells it out pretty clearly.

Not if what you have to replace them with is Cantor, Ryan and Bachmann.
I'll take Barney Frank any day.
    And Dennis Kucinuch.
    And Marcy Kaptur.

What we need to do is get the special interests out of the equation: and that is impossible. Everyone is a special interest.
Problem is--the ones with the most money always win!

How about we don't allow millionaires to run? They would all be gone then!!

    Oooops-and nowwwww: Trump! weeeeeee

            Fair?

Not in the lexicon of Baggers.

Otherwise, we would be ending that stupid Tax cut, which benefits the uber-rich on the backs of the middle class, and doing something about the tax system, which allows a billion dollar company to not only not pay ANY taxes, but get a rebate back!!!!

Any chance any of those thing will be on the agenda, Boehner?

Oh, and while we're at it: WHERE ARE THE JOBS? You got your tax cuts, where are they?

For people like me living in other countries, the America shown to us is usually all glorious and glamarous. Its saddening to know that a country with so much has its citizens living with so little.
If thats the scene for one of the richest countries that we should expect even worse scenarios for third world countries.

Consider a U.S. Military Veteran minding his own business driving his car within the U.S.A. gets stopped by U.S. Border Patrol. They seek to search his car without resonable suspicion that he was violating any law and question his citzenship. Mind you, this goes on within the U.S. Border; not upon entering into the U.S. but within the U.S.! Don’t believe it?

Certainly those who aren't dumbed down and brainwashed by the left are fed up.

We are determined to eradicate the scum that pose as American Congressmen who are destroying this country.   I hope many will serve time in prison for their crimes.

They make the laws that bind us but they don't follow those laws themselves.

They've sold us to the highest bidder.

The comments on here show how Truly Americans are indoctrinated with fallacies and half truths when it comes to what they wrongly dub as 'socialism.'  College students will tell you: "No one Really listens to Freud anymore."  rofl  Yes they do, they simply don't know it or recognize it.  Freud comes in the form of fake news, media advertising and people telling lies calling it 'news.'  I find the comments to prove that correct each time someone spouts 'socialism' like They haven't an Original thought in their heads, just spouting what they see and hear.

The only definition that applies is facsism which is surrender of state powers to corporate interests.   Thats usually the end result of capitalism unchecked.

This country has been sold out from right under our feet.  Look into how many former congress people work for major corporations or end up as paid lobbyists after leaving office.

Just let people spend their money as they choose (and make sure that no one can create money out of thin-air).

People will want to see their own lot in life improve, and insodoing, will help each other out.

The reason why Steve Jobs is rich is the same reason why smart-phones are so ingrained in our society right now.

Nothing to do with taxes, you make it quite clear who you think is worthy of your help, society doesn't all ways agree with  your choices.

If arguing with me is like arguing with a brick wall then I suspect that is because I don't constantly roll over and say "gosh Evan, you're so right, how could I fail to see the error of my ways"

Ron Paul IS pro-life, but he wouldn't want government funding it, nor would he want abortions to be illegal.

That's the beauty of a Libertarian - you can disagree with their specific issues, but you know they won't make it illegal for you to do what you want.
