Have you ever visited Sedona Arizona, and if so, what activities did you enjoy the most?

I went to Sedona about 2 years ago and will be going back next month.  One of the best things we did the last time we were there was a Pink Jeep Tour.

Take a good camera! You'll find some of the most beautiful sights in the world. The colors! The nature! Ah! Take me with you!!!

I remember how beautiful the colors were when were there last time.  I don't think I would want to live there, but it is a beautiful place to visit.

The best views are from Schnebly hill road and at airport mesa.  If you start feeling depressed at any point during your stay, for God's sake stay away from Midgley bridge!!!

My daughter-in-law is bringing a great camera.  One time at the Grand Canyon we got some great pictures at sunset with a cheap camera by holding drugstore polarized sunglasses up as a filter.  I don't know if anyone can be depressed there.

    Hi Mactavers,

Wow, I stumbled across this and couldn't believe it! I did an English soccer camp in Sedona back in the summer 2008, for company called Challenger sports. I don't know if you know of it? We spent a fantastic week their with the Burnett family of which I have very fond memories. I loved that part of the world, how remote and beautiful it is. Hopefully I'll be able to come back again sometime!

A very gorgeous and scenic place. We stayed one night and had breakfast with a view of the canyon. It gets very cold up there in the winter. It was on the way to Flagstaff. It's about a 30 to 40 degree difference from the inferno city (so hot) - Phoenix.

I have been to Sedona twice and it is a truly beautiful place.  I actually just did a hub about Northern Arizona and it includes some pictures we took in Sedona and at the Grand Canyon.

There are great tours you can take or just go around on your own schedule.  The shops are pretty cool if you are looking for local crafts.  The sheer beauty of the red rock hills are tough to describe in words, they really need to be seen.

This thread is over a year old.  It's interesting that people keep finding it and replying.
