The Greeks as well as the Pagans know why gods need worshipers. They feed on worship. That's why the Christian god wants worshipers and threatens anyone who doesn't worship him with eternal torture.
Let it be resolved that we kill these parasites. Starve them to death.
Go ahead and give it a try. People have been trying for millenia.
Since I've never seen one I assume we have succeeded for the most part. But I suspect that the Christian god was just a fantasy. So tell us who has tried to starve your god to death for thousands of years? lol... I think you jumped the gun on your answer. I've never heard of a starve the gods movement before I suggested it.
Uh-oh, looks like someone is going to hell.
He would do well not to walk out in front of my car.
Sudden unexplained brake failure could become a god destroying act of god.
Someone told me once I should try to impress the fundamentalists so I get through to them. So I bought a steam roller. I call it my impresser. If we can find god and get him to stand still for a minute, wanna ride shot gun? lol...
I think it could work. Any ideas on where he hangs out?
That reminds me of an easter joke I forgot to tell at easter. Jesus walks into a hotel, throws three nails down on the counter and says: "Can you put me up for the night?"
A mind parasite. Yup. Like Dawkins said: a meme.
I am sure this forum will spark many. I will check back to see how you are holding up...
I completely pointless and meaningless OP which intention is to just pi*s people off rather than start an intelligent discsusion. If as an athiest you wish your view to be taken seriously stop being a complete arse and post something that demonstrates your ability to think.
I used to find these types of threads offensive; but in many ways he's right. The fundamental approach to Christianity needs a jump start to extinction. Those such as yourself; whose faith is the product of thoughtful reflection on an intelligent study of the scriptures are drowned out by all of the voices screaming insanity.
Thanks for your good opinion of me JC.
just_curious is correct, as always. Your sensibilities are collateral damage in a conflict you have little to nothing to do with.
Well, Is it the non-existent gods that are parasites or is it the people who live with that?

Because they want to conquor the world for self glory. They simply want to enjoy earthly, mortal, unhuman treasures for the sake of society. They do not bother for poor, sick, helpless, downtrodens, society's image etc. They are like disobedient child falling down and down and does not bother...

If you've chosen a pantheon or tradition, which god is your patron god and which goddess is your matron goddess? I tend to switch back and forth, but my matron goddess tends to always stay the Celtic Rhiannon goddess and my patron god switches back and forth between Lugh and Pan. How about you...

This is evidence that God is good, and wants us to be the same.

How can the Bible be considered proofI would say that 8 out of ten times when discussing proof of god with a theist, they quote the Bible. In my perspective, the Bible is the collection of claims about the christian god, not the evidence for it - and all claims require...
