Just wondering when we get paid from the Hubpages Adsense Program? I have made some $$ and wonder when it goes into my paypal account. thx!
You need to reach $ 50.00 before you are eligible for a monthly payout
http://hubpages.com/faq/#hpads-payments read for further information.
It just depends on how you receive your money and how much you earn.
Direct deposit requires you to make a certain amount before they will transfer any money. The other ways are the same with amount restrictions.
you can also check this for more information - http://hubpages.com/help/user_agreement Section 9 - Payment
If your monthly earning does not reach the pay out threshold of $50, it will be rolled over to the next month. You can even disable the program on your account for any stretch of time you wish and can enable it again whenever you want to. The already earned amount pending in the account will be rolled over to your next payment.
I am hoping to make a great amount of money with the hubpage ad program if possible.
I have been writing on HP for 6 months now and made $11.00. I finally got a book order a fellow hubber said he bought from one of my hubs, and Amazon says they have no affiliate code for me. I do, and it's active. I pulled up all the Amazon products on all 67 of my hubs, and I see my code in all of them. I can't get them to understand. Many said we didn't have to use backlinks, or keywords, that quality writing was enough. I think I'm a decent writer, but have spent sometimes 7 or 8 hours writing and posting a hub, and it certainly isn't worth it for $11.00 in 6 months. Plus we were told if we posted our work or duplicated it on Stumble Upon or other writer's sites, all our hubs would be deleted from HP. Now today I was hub hopping, and they are saying, "Oh, yes, go post your hubs on other sites!" Are they crazy and what am I doing wrong?
There is a 40% chance that the book order went to HubPages; they get any income from 40% of the visits to your hub. Understand that they don't get 40% of the income; rather 40% of the time an Amazon click will carry their code instead of yours.
Are you using good SEO practices? Do you do your keyword research? Do you promote your hubs? Backlinking may or may not be necessary post Panda, but without it there won't be much income for many months from a new hub. There is more to making money than good writing.
Do not post your hubs on other sites. Did you misunderstand and "they" were actually saying to put a backlink on another site to your hub?
I didn't post hubs on any other sites. Maybe I misunderstood, I guess it said post links to other sites. How do you do that? I see my work on Google, some on the first page, but don't really understand all the SEO and backlink stuff. How do you do that? I don't really want to leave, but I've put so much time in and it feels like it's not worth it. I was looking for something to do to keep writing while trying to get a book published, like many on HP.
A backlink is nothing more than a link posted on another site (you mentioned stumbleupon) that leads to your hub. I use Redgage, Shetoldme and Excerptz, with a few on Xomba as well. Excerptz does the best for me, followed by Redgage, Xomba and Shetoldme.
There is lots of information around HubPages (both hubs written and the learning center) about SEO, keywords and backlinking. When I started writing here I spent considerably more time studying and "going to school" than I did writing - it pays off.
Xomba hasn't been allowing your own hubs to be posted there, so don't try that one. I am so disappointed because I have gotten a lot of traffic from there.
Do you mean that you can't backlink your hubs from Xomba? Or that you can't post a copy of the hub there?
Maybe it's a good thing that I got all my backlinks in there last year, even though they are no-follow.
It does seem like the rules changed everywhere, I think I came aboard at HP at the wrong time. I like the community though.

I was just wondering how successful people are with the Hubpages ad program and if anyone had managed to make payout in one day yet. I have yet to earn over $5 in one day from the ad program. How about everyone else?
