Our family is in debt and things have bee really difficult for us in the last 6 months or so. I can't go for a job as my mother is ill and see needs care 24/7. My only hope was online earnings but with recent algo changes whatever little I was earning from Hubpages has dried up. I have decided to start 1-2 websites but I really want the to start making money within 4-6 months, don't know if its even a realistic expectations. The financial crunch has made things really difficult and if we don't start paying back at least about $200/ month by end of this year we are at risk of losing our home and other valuables. I would appreciate any help advice and more ways to make money.
Sid - As a temporary measure while you get your sites started, did you apply to BrightHub? They take writers from all over the world. They offer $10 per article up front plus ongoing revenue share.
I haven't as I don't have any written article as they need a sample article and I hate that you are allowed to write just one category.
You can write in as many categories as you want. You apply for one, and then once accepted, you apply for others.
But they need unique article or can I give any of my hubs. Another question, is it $10 flat for every article irrespective of category and size of articles.
If you are serious about writing and earning money you will have occasionally write a short original article to submit to a site. A lot of times you can use something already published but not always.
Yes, you can use one of your hubs. They're just going to read it -- not use it for anything.
There are "user submitted" channels, which are RevShare only, and "editorial channels" (I think that's what they're called) which are upfront plus RevShare.
Write with Blogger - at least a few members here get traffic in the thousands and it's completely free - it's optional whether you register your own domain name.
Set up lots of small niche blogger sites.
Hang on - you are "desperate" to make money - but you don't want to apply to a decent paying writing site because you have to write one article???
I think you need to work out whether you are desperate or not!
Yes starting websites and picking the right keywords and developing backlinks will make you money
But not in 4-6 months unless you are very, very lucky.
You could easily make $200/month freelancing in that time frame
But only if you work your arse off
You can apply to About.com and LoveToKnow.com ...both of them require training but pay a salary/per article fee. LoveToKnow pays per article and you have a guarantee of about 20 articles a month..
Sid, I wish things were better for you, but wishing won't help you, so I will offer an idea as well.
I wrote a hub hoping to assist people in financial trouble with a solid way to get urgently needed money for a quick recovery.
It involves buying and selling general items with big profit margins.
I will grab it for you and post it only if you think it may help.
It sure helped me when I was poor, so I have tried to teach it in the hub

Hello. Is there anyone here from an Asian country who got their google adsense approved? I've heard that if you reside in an asian country, you have to wait for 6 months. To be specific? What is it about that 6 months? Is it, your account being 6 months old? Or all of your hubs need to be 6 months...

Would you think I must apply now for adsense? I have almost 35 hubs, is it okay now? I have read some forum that they got approved without the 6 month thingy. Some got approved in 3 weeks.

I joined hub pages recently and have only a few articles online. So if I am to apply for a google adsense account what would be a safe number of articles to have before applying? And is the amount of time the articles are published also a factor?

Hi,I do not why Google is not approving my Adsense application. Am from India and I heard that people from India should wait minimum 6 months to apply for Adsense. Also they should have published minimum 10 hubs. I have done all these things. But when I apply to Adsense, am not getting approved....

I have read in a few different forums, Hub comments and Answer/Questions that you shouldn't really expect much success, at least financially, until sometime around 6 months on HubPages.I'm just curious what happens around 6 months? Is that you will just have more quantity or by 6 months most...
