   Bank of America would pay $410 million to settle its piece of a broad lawsuit involving excessive overdraft fees on debit cards in a deal tentatively approved by a federal judge in Miami on Monday.
   
   The legal action against Bank of America is part of a class-action lawsuit on behalf of consumers. It accuses the nation’s banks of manipulating debit transactions to maximize the fees they could charge customers who exceeded the balance in their accounts.
   
   Bank of America was the first defendant to settle in the case, said Robert Gilbert, one of the plaintiff lawyers. There are roughly 30 remaining defendants, including JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo, U.S. Bank, and Citibank, he said.

      They are just sandbagging for the statute of limitations to expire. (Ever wonder why the previous Treasury Secratary is living in a country with no extradition treaty with America?) It's a huge scam, wholesale fraud. At the root of the crisis was lying about the existance of money, lending money that did not ever exist, and...
      I could go on all day. Let me summize, any crime that involves more than a million dollars should carry the death penalty. Because, a million represents more than a normal person's net worth. Stealing that much is just like murder.

      Trying to pick through the gross atrocities the Banking Institutions have leveled on us is like picking at a big ball of S*#T.  No matter where you start it all smells the same.
      
      The overcharges by choice have been taking place for years and just one more immoral act perpetrated by the banks of this country.
      
      But I would be remiss in not mentioning that it goes back many years where it all began with Warburg, Aldrich and Wilson.  The three amigos who began the great fleecing of America with the Federal Reserve.

      Bank of America settled for way less than they fleeced from their customers. They should have to pay it all back. plus a fine in the amount of the fleecing. That should discourage banks from trying to rip off its customers in the future

   Losing a civil lawsuit like this isn't the same as being convicted in a criminal case.  I don't know, but it would seem like an Attorney General could take the results of this case and use it to get specific indictments for criminal proceedings.

   If All the big company 'criminals'were to go to prison there would be one heck of a population explosion in our jails. There's not enough cells for them all.  More crime happens in the suites than we have on the streets.  If we knew it all, it would be mind boggling.

   Too many inmates. Too many unqualified people to take the positions that would become available, possibly killing all business(Economy).
   
   It's believable. Slap them with fines and let them off. It's just another sign of what is to come. Not surprising...

         Yes, the War on (middle class and below) Men has been won. It began with those Drunk Driving laws twenty years ago and concluded with the Openly Gay military. They went and criminalized everything a red-blooded, meat-eating thing a man might want to do. Like, drive home from a bar after six beers, or have an ounce of weed handy for after work, or keep a gun in the glove box, or smoke a cigarette in public, or grab a woman on the ass, or...
         That's why 5% of America's adult male population is in prison now!
         Phase II has begun, the War on (middle class and below) Women.

            I'm not sure your percentage is correct, but I will agree that prisons are already overcrowded.
            This assault has been going far too long already and hasn't ever stopped.

               I think there is a definite war on masculinity.  The rich only want masculinity when it serves their profitability, but mostly it does not, mostly it is a threat to the super elites profitability.

                  Just a distraction tactic by the elite, so as to hide other actions, like the fact that more and more people are lesser educated than ever before. Yet, division is the problem and the elite play that from as many fronts as they can.
                  Actually, it is profitable for them to play both sides. Either way, they win and their profit margins remain intact.

                     I can remember when a being a MAN meant being able to hit a canteloupe from a quarter mile away (400 meters, or 440 yaars.)
                     Bazillionaires hate that.
                     I also remember (1981) when the NTSB director said, "America will never pass seatbelt laws. It's an affront to our freedom of choice."
                     And now we can sleep soundly at night, wearing a court-ordered ankle tracking braclet, knowing that gay men wearing berets stand ready to do violence on our behalf. Ha.

   This thread almost sums up the whole real situation - all the real crime is committed ON the people who are then set against each other in many different ways, female v male, parents v schools, etc etc., in the contuation of the black v white that was so successful for those high-end criminals.
   
   That the left v right crowd can agree on something like this from their various perspectives - even though it is hard to agree each others reasons - should point clearly to the real culprits in the demolition of society for the benefit of the 'elite'.
