Yes, I offended a lot of people. Funny thing is, the people who are so bothered by my words are probably those who I might really really dig. I like to read a lot of topics on this forum and I think there're a whole lot of smart people here. But take a really smart guy or girl for instance,& you find they usually say really dumb things when they think their race is being insulted. Its funny, sort of. But check this out,why all the fuss?Cant we all just get along?lol. Some comments really knocked me out, especially on SweetiePie's topic about me. I'm fast getting notorious, too. What killed me most was the comment that I needed help, you know psychological and all. That knocked me out,but not nearly as much as the one about me being very angry and all. But seriously though, everyone had a lot to say but just two or three people could see through the so called harsh words of mine...could see into the substance. Gosh, I hate saying corny, boring stuff like 'see into the substance'. See what you caused, brethren.
I think probably more people then you think could see through "dumb" words and just didn't pay any attention. I read it, I personally didn't find anything wrong with it other then another persons personal political corrections and, well... I thought the whole thing was pretty comical.
If you want to get along, it's best not to start out posting provocative statements. A good rule of thumb is to avoid making blanket generalizations or insulting people, whether you're among friends, or a newbie to an online community.
I guess that's right. Some of us, such as me, decided you were a racist idiot, and made a mental note not to waste any time reading your hubs, in case they were similarly half-witted.
Glad to read that all is well. Welcome to the wonderful world of Hubpages. I hope you get success.
Everybody is entitled to their beliefs anyway and what you write is your choice. If you write something which some people might take offense too, be prepared for a barrage of hate comments or sarky comments as that's what people do. There are some pompous righteous overly-sensitive people on this site, as there are on every website of this type in the world. If you don't like getting a barrage of angry comments, then don't say something which will get them stirred up. If you don't mind the angry comments, then by all means stir them up.
Sorry you took my post that way. All I was telling that thread was I thought they were giving you way too much attention. You seem to enjoy the limelight, but to be honest you did not offend me. I was only speaking in general terms about that thread someone started about being offended about you, which in my mind was just giving you way too much credit. Anyway, I am not offended by you or what you say.
Giving me way too much credit? Are you kidding me, are you like an ironist? No one gave me credit. Lol. But it was refreshing though, you gotta admit, SweetPie. Say a madman on the street walked up to you somewhere & called you a madman, cussing at U,& spitting and all. Would you go cussing and spitting back at him? Well, if you did, then you just met a friend. My point is, most of the people yanking their heads off about my topic probably feel convicted by my words. Those coolheaded about it,are like "whatever". And you're wrong, the attention doesn't do anything for me. Yes, I got a few laughs out of the whole thing, Londongirl was really venting. But I'm not one of those corny people starving for attention or something like that. I just think controversy is healthy for a writer. It sales for pete's sake. Check your all time bestsellers.
You really are humorous Mark Knowles. Very charming, indeed. Yes, Sir.

Well yesterday was a very interesting day. I was having lunch in a restaurant with my friend and as we chatted away, a naked man walked into the restaurant and ordered his meal. Of course people were looking but nobody dared asked him anything or confront him as he was a big fella, about 6'11 with...
