Why does a naked woman get so much attention?

   Well yesterday was a very interesting day. I was having lunch in a restaurant with my friend and as we chatted away, a naked man walked into the restaurant and ordered his meal. Of course people were looking but nobody dared asked him anything or confront him as he was a big fella, about 6'11 with a massive broad six pack chest and he did have a big ding dong.
   
   Shortly afterwards a naked woman walked in. Even before she stepped in, whistles were flying everywhere and all eyes were on her. She had a good pair of perky tits, nice slender body, tight a$$, golden hair and blue eyes. The cash-out boy just stared at her with his mouth open and almost all the guys surrounded her and they were just about to tear her apart but luckily the police came and took them away.
   
   It was later on we discovered we were on candid camera and it was just to see how normal people react to nudity.
   
   So I know this is a thousand year old question but what is it about the female body that just gets so much attention? Is it just the sex, obsession or what is it really?
   
   I mean, when a naked guy shows up people often cover their faces or look the other way but when it a naked girl EVERYONE including women will look at her.... so what is it really??

         well, when a naked woman walks in all eyes are on her (duh)
         they could be thinking mean thoughts, fantising or comaring her to themselves(woman). Men just think about how much they want her unless they are faithful to they're wifes then they are think about why she is in the resterant naked.

      Humans are wired for sex. Women are designed to use their attributes to attract suitable mates and consequentally beautiful women particularly naked beautiful women will recieve all of the males attention. The women look because they are sizing up their competition. Remember they are wired to attract the most suitable mates and in nature would work to beat their competition. Conversely most men wouldn`t give more than a passing glance to a naked man, but I have a funny feeling the women were being less obvious about looking at the mail but were indeed looking perhaps even trying to attract his attention!

      For Instance :  http://apps.facebook.com/photosilove/vi … amp;ref=mf   is going around facebook.  No it isn't a restaurant, but there are average people hanging out.. with their husbands and/or children. 
      
      I decided after reading the responses (many of which I could almost feel the men beating their chest and going up / down.  Yes.. me me me.. pick me. YeaH.  I like boobies.. yeah.. me! )  No judgments.. sure we are part of the animal kingdom, hear us roar?    However, we have a "bigger" brain, a conscious, the ability to make cognate decisions.  We can control where our mind goes, how long we spend there and do we want to go back. 
      
      I am an artists.. I have drawn nudes / women & men.  Not once did I feel the urge to ... do anything but draw the models.  I know, I am a freak of nature .. a person who does not want to use their "SEX" as a selling tool in marketability.   Even with higher & more spiritual connections between a man and woman, there are times that do result with the union of their bodies – however,  it becomes an act of love & connection to our divine nature --> NOT lower impulse LUST.   
      
      Also, you may not be interested .. but for those who are... www.change.org has writers who are addressing "human trafficking issues" and can you guess what humans are being used / sold  for? 
      S-E-X!   Since .. we are still part of the greater animal kingdom, we do still have those lower (survival) instincts.  Must mate... must reproduce.. keep the species alive.  Those thoughts do not generally get raised to the surface, but the end result is exactly why MEN respond how they do to a nude woman.  And of course women know this.  For the majority of our life we have been forced fed through magazines, TV, movies.. of our worth. 
      
      For me, there is a time and place for everything.  Taking a bowel movement is natural, but we DO NOT do it in front of a group of strangers  (generally).  Since I believe my body is a SACRED SPACE I will NOT share it with horn dogs A-Z.  I will chose selectively who I want to share my most intimate gift ... with.  What can be more precious than the union between two souls in love? 
      
      As for the hoots to see a nude woman vs a man, you will get no hoots from our table .. no matter what gender-it is NOT appropriate in  my book of life.  I do not want to be an animal, therefor I will not act like on.

      Perhaps it is because women tend to be more aesthetically pleasing than men. Even as a woman who is heterosexual, I will admit that women are, in general, much more attractive than men. It's human nature to think like this. Ever notice when you're watching a pornographic movie? For both sexes, your eyes tend to stay on the woman. Also, a woman's body is mysterious to most people. A man's body is less mysterious. Human Nature.

   I have to say I wonder if this little story really happened.  Though one time I was visiting my friend Sharon for lunch and her husband, appropos of nothing that was going on, suddenly took HIS clothes off.  I must say I wasn't impressed.  He wasn't endowed with anything to brag about.
   
   I think really nudity is getting less shocking by the minute.  It's become old.  Tho most people still wear clothes just to protect themselves from weather and so forth.

         Ok, I had the winter blues.  Also, my old mom got sick, right when I was making arrangements to get to Haiti to see if I could help out down there, so that whole deal fell through.  In the meantime...I do taxes for a couple people and it's that time of year here.  I have less enthusiasm for this business every year, which is kinda sad.  It used to be my livelihood.

      I live in the heart of Rio and over here nudity is not a big deal especially since carnival is coming up and we spend almost four days totally naked! But it just amazes me how the female body still attracts attention with no clothes on..

    Wishful thinking: if you have ever attended a Hen Party where a male stripper appears you will find that women get just as excited about naked men as men get about naked women, personally a naked woman does not excite me unless she is in my bedroom, I think women like to think men get more excited about the naked female form but its wishful thinking......

       Well, I'm not completely sure that's true in all situations. In *public* people feel a need to be "descent" and proper in their disgust, because in most cultures, this type of public nudity is unacceptable. However, in a venue where inhibitions are discouraged, such as a strip club, it's considered an "outlet" and "release" (as it were).
       
       My take is that female nudity is considered an expression of vulnerability and an invitation to males for sex. Imposing male figures who purposely go nude in public are usually seen as an alpha male type figure and are considered a risk for some kind of attack, particularly sexual. However, I think if a very unimposing male figure were to be nude in public, you'd find a completely different, perhaps opposite reaction.
       
       Those are my thoughts, anyhoo.

    It all depends where she is naked.  A naked woman walking around a nudist camp won't get any more attention than a man or viceversa.
    
    I think it all depends on the degree of sexual repression of the individual: the more repressed you are, the more shocked you will be. 
    
    I have seen naked women (and men) at parties -ordinary guests- and they didn't get any more attention than the ones who were fully dressed! That is why I say that it all depends on the viewer and its pre conceptions about nudity and sex in general.

    A decade ago and experiment was run at a nudist beach in Australia. A young attractive woman in a bikini ran across the beach. There were other also attractive women on the beach but it was the woman in the bikini that got all the attention. Why? Mainly because she had a little bit of mystery about her because the men and other women couldn't see all her bits and pieces and simply had to imagine.

    I am so out of the loop in my town, but apparently there was a rave at a closed amusement park in town, and it caused some controversy.  One man's fourteen year old daughter ended up missing after going to the rave, and they found her in the Kmart parking lot a few days later.  Apparently some people who were attending the rave went to the local Walmart, but got thrown out because they were not wearing anything.  I never heard about any of this at the time until I read about it online a month later.
