Christians say that when they die, they will go to heaven and leave in great joy. However, non feer death than christians! Funerals should be ceremonies! We all want to go to heaven but donnot want to get out of the earth. Why?
Probably they know reality and reality stinks!
Good question though, In other forums they are arguing that without god there is no purpose in life, yet they are afraid to go to him!!
Maybe if your faith is strong enough, you will celebrate death. But that's rare.

"Christians say that when they die, they will go to heaven and leave in great joy. However, non feer death than christians!"
Maybe because they've been bad boys and girls and the christian god may tell them he loves 'em as he tosses 'em (lovingly) into a pit of fire and brimstone!
"Funerals should be ceremonies!
Funerals are "ceremonies."
"We all want to go to heaven but donnot want to get out of the earth. Why?"
Ya mean once I've been buried and am 6'under 2 tons of dirt, I "donnot want to get out of the earth. Why?" C'mon! Ya gotta be kiddin'?
('course, really,... being dead,... what the hell will I know?)

Been there and did that. You go into the 4th heave to await judgment day.
Spirits shall reveal themselves more in the future times of this world to verify a spiritual existence. But it will only be understood by the wise.
I think it is out of fear of the unknown that makes a person not want to leave this earth. As a Christian, I 'BELIEVE' there is a heaven but i am not 100% sure. I am sure of this earth because I've experienced it. To leave behind my loved ones for an unknown place is quite scary!!
I just think that most people, christian and non-christian alike, are simply unprepared for the emotions and fear they experience when they are on their deathbeds. None of us who have not been close to death can judge because we don't know how we will react in that situation.
I disagree with the OP's statement that Christians fear death the most. Who told you that? I think you need to do a little more research.
But why should a Christian not be prepared to go to his beautifull home of joy, piece etc? Or he is not sure?
I think you would be hard pressed to find anyone in this world who wouldn't be faced with a little bit of doubt as he neared his death. That doesn't mean he doesn't have faith, it means simply that he is human.
Because no one is sure that there is an afterlife, not even the religious minded, who claim that they are. Deep down, even believers suspect that they believe out of fear. Everyone fears death, and the hope of somewhere to go after we die is an attempt to overcome this fear, although it never really works. This makes me believe that even the most fundamentalist religious believers shout the loudest because they are trying to convince themselves, by convincing others that they really do believe what they claim to believe. If they were to give in to logic their fears might prove to be too much.
There's no question that we survive death according to physics which states that nothing is lost in a closed universe, not even information. The real question is,does ego, self awareness, identity, survive death? If what we recognise as"I/ME"doesn't...whats the point of religion? The other components may go on but if"I/ME"isn't there to experience it,that's kinda scary.....unless you don't like yourself....

Good point! But it is plausible that 'I' is conserved at least in some form if everything is conserved!

Just posting these three summary doctrines here for those who wish to know the historicist view on the above-mentioned topic. This is placed here especially for community participants who have repeatedly assumed that I believe in an ever-burning hell. You should not stereotype all Christians...

Can only Christians and those who accept Jesus Christ go to heaven?According to Christianity, only those who have openly accepted Jesus Christ and the Christian faith may go to heaven. If that is the case, what about the African tribe who has never heard of of Jesus? Even if they are good people,...

Brothers and Sisters in Christ, this message is for you.You have heard the non-believers here on hubpages make the statement. “The only reason anyone would believe in God is fear, fear of death etc.” As laughable as this statement is, let’s address it. Fear of death is common to all men faith or no...
