Why are some Hubpages links nofollow and some are dofollow?

Is there some sort of criteria for which ones they decide are which? I have links in some of my hubs to my websites and some are follow and some nofollow.

I wrote to the hubpages team for clarification but haven't received a response, I guess they are busy and might get back to me in time but I am confused by this smile

From what I've read here in the forums, hubs with a hubscore of 75 or higher will be "dofollow", others are "nofollow."  I think other factors also come into play, like if your average hubscore falls too low, all your links become "nofollow" until the average is brought back up.

Although what I said may not hold true.  I just checked out a couple of hubs rated lower than 75 and the links did not have the "nofollow" attribute.

For a hub to have dofollow links the hubber score (on your avatar) must be at least 75 AND the hub score on that particular hub must be above 40.

Thanks for setting me straight.  I knew it was something like that.

OK thanks jp I will check out the score of the hubs involved and see if there is some kind of correlation - rings a bell now you mention it...

It is a good measure for filtering out low quality hubs, you get incentive that the more input you put in you will get a backlink out of it.

But who says that hub is low quality I've made unique content but seems it doesn't matter.

Your hub will be deleted soon.  Hubs are to be written in English.  Read the TOS and FAQ section located in HELLLLLLLP!smile

It takes time to have your score for a Hub to rise after it is first published.
But the biggest issue I see is it has to be written in English.
