Spun Content

Now I know there is tons of horrible spun content here at Hubpages and I do believe that's total crap, but here's something I find totally funny on many writing sites.

Many of the people griping about spun content, usually the ones who do so from an ethical viewpoint have portfolios filled out with articles that are more similar than quality spun content.

    Ironic?

What? "Quality spun content?" You must point me to some, that quote sounds like an impossible combination. Like a "clean dirty shirt"

Spun-content is rubbish, whether from a cheap spinner, or from one of the so-called "intelligent" spinners

Not if done correctly Gus and not spun too deeply. If you take the time to learn the proper way to use spinning then you would know that you can produce tons of great articles for the purpose of backlinks on article directories. I never use spun material as my primary articles on sites such as Hubpages, but I have began to deposit spins for backlinks and the results are good. The problem with spinning is that people are lazy and they auto spin stuff and don't edit it after they do so. To really spin something for the original spin master actually takes much longer than writing an original article but you can get 20 totally original looking articles out of it. You say show you some, I can guarantee you have seen some done by someone who took the time to do it right and never knew the difference. That's the truth.

I don't think your statement is true.

I know many hubbers complain about "spun" content and none, I repeat, none of them "spin" their content.

Yes cagsil I know they don't. But here is what I am saying about some of them, not all. This is just a point I'm making I could really care less about it. I'll look at a Hubber who does not spin articles and they will have a topic broke down into so many articles that it's actually worse than quality spun articles.

Let's say for instance I was going to target a model of a toaster. Then I wrote 50 articles trying so desperately to build a bulk amount of original articles that I wrote separate articles on all 50 major parts that build up that toaster right down to every last screw used to build it. This is the type of overkill I am referring too that many people on all types of sites do.

My opinion much of the quality spun material has more to offer in the means of an informative article.

Sounds to me, Gentlemen, that we need an acceptable definition for what "Spun" content means.

    Somebody give it a crack.

Lmao Wesman, I would argue that in the scenario I laid out it is merely manual spinning. One does not have to use a program to spin something. It is publishing any article similar to an article you already published that does not add a sufficient amount of new information to make it stand alone as original. No matter how that article was written.

I was only pondering this because on another site that is relatively new I had someone disagree with my recommendation to spin anything for the purpose of backlinks. Then looking at their portfolio they had published over 150 articles in a month that were more or less identical.

One could even argue that no matter what you write at this point in civilization it is spun, because everything has been done at one time or another in some way shape or form.

        Good Definition, I think!

So "spun" is basically a cheap copy of someone else's work.

Of any work including your own. While they have no place on primary writing sites it is a great tactic for gaining backlinks as you would submit the spins to places that are not too concerned with high quality such as article directories.

You want to learn the proper way to spin Wesman if you are going to get good results from the Free Traffic Systems. If you don't then Google will not count all 30 submissions as good backlinks perhaps. Sometimes they will , but normally they won't. By spinning them properly you will get more showing up as good backlinks.

Well, I can regurgitate things in a different way and condense them for short submissions with a link to the longwinded and detailed hub.  That's no problem for me at all, and is what I do on shetoldme and article blast.  I tend to take a more care free and humorous approach on those sites.

To each there own Wesman, but you can do the same with the proper spinning and get 30 articles out of 1, saves tons of effort and does get results.

There is a difference. HP doesn't allow automated spinner software.

Convo took a turn and was no longer talking about Hubpages or any primary writing site as i stated above.

Nor would I ever want to use any.  My writing, even when it's about birds or snakes - is full of political one liners that spin software designed by a Vulcan couldn't reproduce.

Please to be thanking you reading very much helpful site.  And another thing in common with all sites you are previewing beforehand are much of the difference in between.

I have no idea what it would mean either... but I bet Google loves it smile
