It is hard to say how many forum posts I write daily. If I see a discussion that is interesting and that I have something to comment on I will.

And as we have seen in action, if you post too much about nothing your hubscore will go down quickly

    It's an easy math:

You multiply the number of months since you have joined by 30 and divide your total posts by this number. For Susan it comes to 1496/(15x30)=3.3 posts a day. Not precise, but gives you an idea smile

Personally I enjoy the Forums because I find a lot of the topics funny, didnt know it affected your hubscore but to be honest the hubscore is not that important to me anyway.

After only asking the occasional question or else taking the occasional break from working (and posting a few here or there), I've recently "picked up steam" to several per day.  After not ever being sick for two years or so, in April I got some "whopper" of a "flu-type" thing; and I discovered that if I don't feel like doing anything else I usually have energy to post (and post and post).   smile   I do like the funny ones, in particular.  smile  As an aside, my HubScore has been fairly steady-ish, no matter what I do or don't do on the forum (but it's not my reason for posting either).  Looking-for-laughs aside, it's a great way to learn what there is to learn about HubPages.

I seldom seen some big earner hubber post here. Perhaps its because money comes to them already even if they don't bother to comment or post and talk in forum. It is based on my observation. Can anybody please check the attendance. Lols

The number of times you post depends on your reason for joining HubPages.  If you are talkative and want to be part of a group and not that satisfied with your earnings or not interested in earnings, you will find yourself posting more frequently.  Also posting and writing hubs are what the hubber can control.  You can not control the number of fans that you have or what you will see as your earnings each month.  I noticed that one commenter was happy at getting 200 posts.  That's fine, but I would be happier over achieving something that others recognized  such as earnings or my fan base.  If my posts become more than the number of hubs then I would have to reconsider why did I become a member of hubpages.

It depends entirely on who's asking a question and whether I have the answer. Or if there's some interesting discussion going on in which I feel like contributing.

Otherwise I don't put a number on it or have expectations as to how many I can or should post.

linda, my posts now outnumber my total number of Hubs - but (for good or ill) a lot of my Hubs tend to be "big, long, comprehensive" type things; while a lot of my posts are "quickies".  I guess my only reason for mentioning this would be that I would hope people wouldn't look for numbers and make judgments about which Hubbers take their writing seriously, based on the numbers.  Not that any of us has to worry about what anyone else might think about us (if they spend a half second thinking about us at all anyway) - but for some reason I just thought I'd mention that.  I guess I'm a "clarifier" by nature (obnoxious as that probably is    smile   ).

usually depends on the topic that posted in the forum. If the topics are interesting, might be post up to 10.

I read a lot of them, but unless I think I can add something I don't reply.
There are a lot of Hubbers out there that are very knowledgeable and can answer a question a lot better than I can...LOL
