This is absolutely brilliant. Never thought of it this way. They sure are a discontented lot. ..

    Unhappy Arabs!!!

    The Arabs are not happy!

    They're not happy in Gaza.
    They're not happy in Egypt.
    They're not happy in Libya.
    They're not happy in Morocco.
    They're not happy in Iran.
    They're not happy in Iraq.
    They're not happy in Yemen.
    They're not happy in Afghanistan.
    They're not happy in Pakistan.
    They're not happy in Syria.
    They're not happy in Lebanon.

    So, where are they happy?

    They're happy in England.
    They're happy in France.
    They're happy in Italy.
    They're happy in Germany.
    They're happy in Sweden.
    They're happy in the USA.
    They're happy in Norway.
They're happy in every country that is not Muslim.
    And whom do they blame?
    Not Islam.
    Not their leadership.
    Not themselves.

THEY BLAME THE COUNTRIES THEY ARE HAPPY IN!

Don't argue with OLY! I'm sure he's personally visited all of these countries and polled their citizens to get the "Happy/Sad" info or he would not have posted it here.  lol

Either that or he's been drinkin' the old "oily hooch" again!  smile

I wonder how long it took to poll every single Arab, whether they are are Muslim or not) in every country listed. Not all Arabs are Muslim by the way.

Don't tell Oly there are Christians in some of those countries.  It'll just confuse him further.  smile

Some people tend to forget that Christianity is a Middle Eastern religion.

Lol! I knew the Mcveigh argument would come up! Was he acting out as a christian fundamentalist? No! He was seeking revenge for Waco!

Now lets look at the more than 17,000 Islamic terrorist attacks that have taken place around the world since 9/11. Do you still want to claim they're congruent?

Timothy McVeigh was a white supremacist.  He was less a mainstream Christian than Bin Laden was a mainstream Muslim - given the positive reaction to Al Qaeda's attacks and negative to his assassination.

The fellow who killed all those youngsters in Norway was a Christian - a Christian knight he reckoned.

And all those good Protestants and Catholics in Northern Ireland who murdered each other for years!

It is religion per se, rather than any particular religion, that is the problem.

ZZ Nohubs: Which British website did you copy this from?

You might want to inform whoever wrote this that Iranians, Afghans, and Pakistanis are not Arab.

The answer is simple and it's right under your nose. The G8 (US, UK, etc) props up puppet rulers in the Middle East who terrorize their own people. Those who can, immigrate to Europe and the US. The Western powers are absolutely the reason for discontent in the Middle East. Ghaddifi has been on the US payroll for years so that the US oil companies could get cheap land in Libya. That's just one example. When the Libyans started trying the overthrow their government, the US wisely switched sides in order to have influence on the new leader that is to be propped up there. Europe and the US have been meddling in the Middle East for decades. It's worth doing a little research on the topic.

And about three years to loose it all.

Have a good weekend , Charles.

With no offence, this is not more than another stupid facebook post. 1st of all, more than 30% of the population you mentioned, are not even Arabs. Secondly, nobody took a survey whether they are happy or not. It seemed a racist slur to me. No offence, peace.

Actually Oly does make a point, though of course its a broad generalization and "happiness" isn't defined. Yes there are polls that measure Muslim attitudes in countries around the world. If happiness is defined as a level of education and economic success, them muslims in western nations fare far better than their counterparts in Islamic nations. If happiness is defined as a felling of assimilation into society, then muslims in western nations aren't so happy.

I'm pretty sure though, that people that blow themselves up and try to kill as many innocent people around them that they can are considered unhappy. More often than not these people reside in Islamic nations. If you consider polls that show 10% of muslims favor violent Jihad, a minority by still millions of people, and add to that the majority that though not in favor of terrorist methods are in favor of the goals of al queda, well, then its safe to say there's a lot of dissatisfation out there.

Well maybe they all need to find a better way to be happy instead of moving around the world. They must be doing something wrong inside themselves if they can't find happiness externally! smile

Exactly Old Empresario. The Western powers, especially the US and Britain, never had any intention that any Middle Eastern country useful to them develop any democratic systems. It is far easier for them to control a despot, just keep his bank account topped up!
