      if i start believing in ghosts, i guess i have to believe in god too. well i haven't seen a ghost. but have stood on my balcony (unsuccessfully) for hours waiting to catch a glimpse. i guess i was always more hopeful of the ghost than the gods.

         Why do you have to believe in God to believe in ghosts? I don't see how the two are correlated.

   My mother talked to them all the time, now so does my daughter.  My mother was an alcoholic, my daughter takes anti-psychotic medications... what does that tell you about ghosts?

         No, I'm not a ghost, but the people in my life who talk to them obviously have mental illness, so I don't believe in ghosts and I don't think they really are talking to them, rather they are delusional and ghosts don't really exist, outside of their heads anyway.

   Ive never seen a ghost . But all my other senses have felt something, Phantom memory,  residual energy,  a creaky door , squeaky  floor. Goosebumps  on the arm  a flash so vivid  of what was once real.  Daydream? Maybe. Wishful thinking? In many cases. I  tend to hope its so much more.
