GOP to Planned Parenthood: Hand over records
By LAURIE KELLMAN - Associated Press | AP
    http://news.yahoo.com/gop-planned-paren … 50203.html
WASHINGTON (AP) — A Republican-led House panel has asked the Planned Parenthood Federation of America to hand over more than a decade's worth of documents in a probe of whether the organization improperly spends public money on abortions.
Democrats and Planned Parenthood supporters say the 90-year-old group is audited regularly and publicly and that the probe is the latest Republican run at shutting it down.
At issue is whether American taxpayers are unwittingly underwriting elective abortions, in violation of federal law. Absolutely not, says Planned Parenthood. But congressional Republicans are not so sure.
another way for govt to control people

Yes, in the most private of ways.
Maybe that's why some goob is once again spewing garbage about the second amendment....cause they are trying to distract attention away from the fact that they want to erase the 4th and 8th!

or is it the 14th and 17th?? 16th?? So many, I loose track.

you know, for supposed "constitutionalists", they really don't like it too much sad

I find it funny that the taxpayers actually think they have a say in how the government spends money?

The taxpayers want better education? Yet, government refuses to clean up schools and fund them properly.

The taxpayers want better spending on the budget? Yet, government continues to spend more money on things it doesn't actually need, like multiple government agencies that could be dissolved.

The taxypayers want troops brought home and wars to end? Yet, government continues to spend money on funding troops and everything else with regards to the on-going war.

So much for the taxpayers having a say in how the government spends money? Why in the world would the government give two sh!ts on how other companies are spending the funding they provide?

I mean seriously, when government provides funds to companies, like liquid injections for jobs creation? Yet, doesn't actually audit the usage of the money? It shows there's a problem.

      Totally absurd.
