    Making some money is what any of us is interested in.

    In order to be paid by HunPages one needs to have an account with AdSense, Google Anaytics, etc.

    Well, I have an account with AdSense. However, when I try to connect my account to HubPages I am first asked if I have an account with AdSense. So, I click on "Yes". Then I am invited to write my account...   When I click on that "button", it tells me that for people who live in China or India it takes up to six months, etc. But I live in Japan. Here is not AdSense fault. As I have an account with them.

    I tried then to write my Google Analytics account, but HubPages rejected as incorrect though they maintain that "We have no way to verify that the Google Analytics Tracking ID that you enter is correct. It is your responsibility to ensure that you've entered the right code."

    I tried to open an account with HubPages but it tells me that I need a six months before my account would be accepted.

    Indeed interesting!!!

    You might think that I am wrong, or that I don't know to fill in an application.


    Well today I opened an account with a company similar to HubPages and in a few minutes I finished with everything including the setting of my accounts with AdSense, Google Analytics, etc.

    The GA acct would need to have HubPagesdotcom listed as the domain - then you take the --> pub- XXXXXXXXXXXX number NOT the 'script code' - then paste it into your HP acct. It takes a few hours or a day for tracking to kick in. Sorry to hear that you had such difficulties. Did you ask anybody on HP for help?

      Yes I used (an not only once) pub- and the next 16 digits (number) and then did paste it in. On any occasion it rejected it. It tells me that some countries like China and India are accepted after six months or so. But I live in Japan. In the end I have an account with Google AdSense.

      I wrote to HubPages a few times but they did not answer. I want to forget about it.
