Link capsules -- more options please?

This has been asked before but I would like to ask again. If someone wants to add a list of related hub links to their hubs, it is really, really time consuming, as you have to open every hub, get the link, and then copy and paste it.

If we could have something similar to the way you categorize multiple hubs at once -- or maybe just a list of all the hubs in a specific group, this would be very much appreciated!

Or even just a way to copy a link capsule and use it in another hub would be nice.

There is already an option to select from your published hubs in the link capsule.  This isn't a perfect fix, obviously, since many of us have a great number of hubs, but if you know the first letter of the titles of the hubs you want to link to, you can at least more efficiently choose them without the back-and-forth.

We'll talk about a way to possibly make selecting your hubs based on group or category easier, but for now, that's your best bet.

Don't think we'll be adding this any time soon.  There are some hubbers who like to add dozens of links to their other hubs on every single hub they publish.  We don't want to encourage this behavior.  A link to your category page would be more efficient.

This is still available under "Advanced Options" when editing the link capsule.

I hadn't considered that, I might try it, thanks!

I would be very happy with the option to copy a link capsule and put it in another hub. This is a very labor instensive task.

How about adding the "Open in new window" option?

The easiest way to do it is with using the RSS feed on your tags.

Add an RSS module, and enter the feed as shown

    http://hubpages.com/author/your_name/tag/hot?rss

You can substitute "latest" or "best" for "hot"

If you have more than one word in the tag, use a + sign to connect

    e.g.  three+word+tag

You can link up to 8 related hubs this way.

Thanks for that but I'd like to manually select them. smile

I'm pretty sure RSS feed links are "no followed" so that's a drawback of that method as well. The internal link juice is nice.

Thanks Lissie. I don't know why I thought they were then. Weird.
