According to gospel of peter which was abandoned by early church claims that jesus never died on the cross , nor did he suffer...as jesus was crucified , jesus was silent and had no pain....

now according to quran jesus was protected by allah ,never crucified and elevated directly to heaven.....

was jesus being crucified and he suffered , died on cross invented as story by early churches to market brand christ?...is quran in lines with what peter claimed?

Jesus, son of Mary was never crucified. However, as stated in the holy quran, the resemblance of him was crucified. The real Jesus was raised to heaven, and he is coming back alive to complete his mission.

"the resemblance of him was crucified"???

Was this an avatar, a clone, a ghost, an android? We're the Romans so stupid that they could not tell the difference between a human bing of flesh and blood and an inflatable doll?

It is not Romans, but the people who make such claims, who are stupid.

The mother of all conspiracy theories. I'm curious why this one hasn't been made into a movie. We've seen every other possible alternative scenario played out on the big screen.

@emile R thats official islam theory...core idea of this thought is god can't let his prophet die so mercilessly....all powerful god would protect his prophet from mortals...this is from where this idea came from and evolved in story...

in christianity idea evolved that jesus died for humanity's sin...now he died which is true...he died painful death too but sin idea was idea to answer jesus's death....idea evolved and 1st century messiah turned into god in 3-4th century....for peter jesus could not suffer....he was jesus of 4th century for peter...super hero...so gosphel of peter says he didnt suffer and was calm on cross...he didnt even die on cross...
