I have a question I would like to ask, seeing as how I can't find any information about it on the web.  I'm hoping someone here has had a similar experience and can provide me with more information.

Anyway, I keep noticing something odd when I look at my husbands reflection.  I wont see it in a regular mirror but I can see it in the T.V. or other reflective surfaces.  It looks like a man is leaning over him with one hand on his shoulder and standing very close.  It appears as a black silhouette and I can never make out any features.  He's a couple of inches taller and it is always seen leaning over the left side.  My husband knew about it long before I came along because he has had friends tell him about it.  Though, one described it as being a person that is a bright red color.  His friend has seen it directly and without the aid of reflective surfaces.

So, any information you guys could give me would be appreciated.  Maybe I'm going crazy or just seeing things, but there's always a chance it's something paranormal! big_smile

As a ghost hunter I have come across spirits standing by people. Try taking a few photos in the reflective surfaces and see if it will show up.
As far as good luck bad luck, people do go through such phases.
Let me know what happens when you take a photo.

It may be a spirit guide. If other people have seen it then you're not crazy. Especially if one of his friends had seen it without the aid of a reflective surface. Do some checking around about spirit guides and see what you find. Is it a positive or negative presence? I know it's surprising to see, but if it's positive you may have nothing to worry about. Just a thought.

I don't believe it's a negative presence.  That is, he never really complains of any negative feelings.  Though, a lot of the time he has a really bad stream of bad luck followed by a lot of good luck.  I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it or not lol.

Anyway, thank you for the reply.  I'll certainly look into it.

I understand that this shadow is more of an aura and not a spirit. Some people say that they can see them but I never did.

Don't be tricked by carnival camera - they are all fake because, "Kirlian devices are limited to taking pictures of the Aura around fingertips or hands, mainly for the safety reasons due to high voltages." - http://www.thiaoouba.com/kiref.htm

Perhaps it's a "Heiligenschein, a ring of light visible around the shadow of the observer's head, created by optical phenomena under certain conditions". - http://www.wikihow.com/Observe-a-Heiligenschein

I'm not sure.  To me it is a shadow that is very defined... Well, for being a shadow lol.  I can see the head poking just to the left side of my husbands and a hand resting on his right shoulder and it's slightly taller.  Usually when I see it, it comes from the reflection on our television (when it's turned off).

What is your husband's first name and his birthdate? All living things have an aura, including plants, but this sounds more like a protective entity. Is hubby lucky? Escaped death at least once? Endlessly finding little lost treasures? Anything out of what most would say is ordinary.

His first name is Brian and his birthday is December 3, 1982.  And yes, he has been in many accidents where he shouldn't have made it out alive.  Like I mentioned earlier, he has a really odd run of bad luck followed by extremely good luck.  I've never seen anything like it lol.  It's very odd...

Whatever it is, it sure seems like something worth more investigation.  If it is a spirit that has been watching him all these years it surely must know that he (and you) are aware of it.  Has anyone ever tried communicating with it?  How does your husband explain it?  Can he sense it's presence or does he get any kind of feeling from it (creeped out, comforted, whatever)?

He's told me that usually he gets a "weird feeling" whenever something bad is about to happen and sometimes when something good is about to happen.  Don't know if that helps at all.

We've never tried to communicate with it either.  Though, maybe we should try.  To be honest I think I might have a heart attack if it actually answered lol.

Without your husbands being aware; You might try sitting up different lighting situations in those rooms where mirrors are (at night); lighting a candle on opposit side of room.
I've seen some freeky things doing this, when the candle was equal distant behind me in relationship to the mirror in front.
Mirrirs are fun to play with anyway. Take a picture of his reflection in the mirror; Ya never know?

I would love to, if I could get him to sit in front of a mirror long enough lol.  He hates them and avoids them as much as possible.

As i suggested earlier; with him unaware , hang a wallplack with candle on a wall opposit and at equal level with the mirrow on oposit wall.
don't make a big deal out of it because it isn't.
and then , when the opportunity arises give the mirror the same attention that you have been giving to the TV set.  No big deal. make it be a small thing.  Nothing may come of it anyway?
