Hell is listening to crazy people, talk about sky fairies and hopes of nonexistant futures. Almost drains one's intelligence...
Even though I don't believe in hell. I still think that its a amazing, that some people have a faith that gives their life meaning. What drains my intelligence is the people that don't understand and can't accept other peoples beliefs.
Hell is thinking there might be intelligence and that faeries are non-existent.
Alas, how dull some lives - without imagination - seek more and more intelligence - and only gain frustration.
For life without the faerie dust - is very dull indeed - I've come to know that faeries - can plant a lovely seed.
So be it sky or forest - wherever they may be - tis there that faerie magic brings eteral life to thee.
If hell is listeneing to crazy people...glad to see you made the grade!
At least I know I'm full of it, kind of keeps things in perspective.
Hey, I like crazy people. At least they came to live out loud. I'm talking about fun crazies, artsy crazies, think out of the box crazies, not loony bin crazies.
Hell is mostly what I imagine.
Some would think of Fire and Brimstone, unceasing, eternal, the pain and being unable to get out of it.
Some would think of being ostracized by everyone around, being lonely and deserted, no friends, no one to talk to.
Some would see it as sitting next to a noisey mother and 2 children, on a 14-hour airline flight.
I personally could imagine the Hell that family and loved ones go through, when one of the family goes missing, without trace. You don't know what has happened to that person, where they have gone, or why. There can be no closure. Only longing and despair. The definite knowledge of their death would be better... you could say your goodbyes and get over it. But not knowing.....Hell.
Or one could look at it as an endless opportunity to imagine that the loved one is happy, doing exactly what they want to do, blissful, beautiful and surrounded by love.
Thank you, that's an enlightened point of view. If an afflicted person could do that it would take enormous spiritual strength - or would it? Maybe just succumbing to the reality of life.
I know it's easy to put words out but creating a reality is another story. I tend to live in a dream world where I block out negativity and pain. When it reaches me by necessity, I dwell there as though in a movie. I make it more exotic and traumatic. Then I get so tired and drained that my mind just moves to a world of fantasy. Maybe it's a blessing, maybe it's a mental illness.
"Deep Throat is a 1972 American pornographic film written and directed by Gerard Damiano", popular at the time; hell is - she is constantly tormented by sex and wants him ever, the guy she is locked up with, but he only wants to chase and kill the flies that are in their chamber. If I remember right.
Why do you keep subjecting yourself to this Hell, mischieviousme, and then whining that it is making you stupider? This is actually the second thread where you've claimed theists are somehow sapping your intelligence. I am starting to believe it.
I get a little manic, especially when theists refuse to think for themselve's.
How many times can you point something out to someone, before they grasp the concept. Hell, is telling a christian to be as of christ and not to follow the man. The idea that the man will deliver one from the self, well it's just stupid and I only aim to repair the glitch. It gets a little frustrating...
I second that! There are so many more productive things you can do.
Like convincing theists to give up on stupidity...
A functioning society, free of titles, attitudes and positions... At least to a degree.
You will get awfully stressed by doing that alone. Why not do something more enjoyable?
I enjoy the debate and I like to drop logic on people.
There's no logic in doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Walk the earth being what you desire the world to be. If you can't change the minds of the people around you, change the people you're around.

Atheists often ask for proof of Jesus being the son of God. If Jesus came to earth and everyone realized He is the son of God, would you still reject Him as your saviour?

Ever since joining Hub Pages, I have read the forums and been struck with how repetitive and somewhat outlandish I find some of the arguments to be against God. I couldn't understand them so I went in search of the answers. Apparently some are reading from a handbook that lists the top four...

I have read some articles that suggest Atheists are generally smarter than Theists. Someone shared a link in an Indian Facebook group and Atheists were like; "Theists are dumber because their minds are occupied with fear all the time, and they can't concentrate on studies......." These...

Is God a vengeful God? If I don't believe, am I condemned to 'burn'?If I lead a life where I am selfless, constantly help people, give away my money and live in a 'Christian' way, will I still be condemned to 'burn' if I simply don't believe in God?

Theists/Atheists: Can you compliment the opposite belief system? If you're a theist, what's something positive you could say about atheists? If you're an atheist, what's something positive you could say about theists? Please no sarcastic or passive-aggressive responses.
