Is it ok to quote scripture from the bible? And if so do we hv to put the bible name crediting the specific bible used? Thanks
You may use quotes. It would probably be wise to indicate which bible is being used.
Be aware, though, that a hub with little but quotations will be judged as duplicate (and be unpublished), and rightly so. It is the same words that are all over the web.
When doing any quoting I would suggest that you always give the source. Also, be sure that your original text is enough to offset the quoted material to keep you from being hit with the duplicate filter. I have occasionally used "stats" for a particular subject, but have always included a high percentage of original material as well within the hub.
What are stats? And thank you for the information:)
I was about to create a hub on best Steve Jobs quotes and before doing so I wanted to see what the expert would say, because it would charge me the duplicate content penalty. SO I now know that the danger is there and I decided not to publish that hub.

When quoting from the Bible to clarify a point, or to prove a point, why is it considered DUPLICATING someone else's work? All writers that use the Bible MUST quote from the Bible, to make and prove their point!I MUST quote from the Bible in EVERY paper, so do other writers that may write on...

We know a lot from what others have learn. And from that knowledge one will quote what is said because it identifies with an experience in their life. The world will and do quote different historians, educators, philosophers, and poets of the world. It is the same with bible role models that have...

Can you, without quoting or referencing the Bible give me solid arguments as to the existence of GodDon't even mention the Bible! It is totally irrelevant and is not a credible source. It was not written by God, but men. So, without aid of your Bible, prove to me that God exists!
