Ryan would make Romney grandchildren illegal

The hypocrisies just keep coming, folks.

Fact: More than one Romney grandchild has been conceived using artificial insemination (IVF).

Fact: Veep candidate Ryan's "Sanctity of Human Life Act" would outlaw IV, essentially making criminals out of the Romney sons and their wives who used it to conceive.

How do you expect Romney will handle this not-so-little dilemma?

    Background:

Ryan is a true believer with respect to pro-life politics. Stephanie Mincemer for  Mother Jones magazine reveals that Ryan co-sponsored the Sanctity of Life Act, which, if passed, will define life as beginning at fertilization. This, in turn, could criminalize in vitro fertilization. Why? Because according to Mincemer, "Doctors typically create multiple embryos and then only implant the healthiest ones in the woman. Some of them stick and become babies, and some don't. The embryos that don't make it to the womb are either frozen for later use or destroyed." If Ryan’s act passes, “destroying” those embryos will be tantamount to murder in the eyes of the law.

Romney has children who have utilized in vitro fertilization (IVF).

The core problem is that there is a real conflict of interest at work. If Romney wants to be pro-life, he's going to have to bite the bullet and endorse a view of personhood that accepts full legal rights of protection beginning at conception.

But, how can he when his own grandchildren were produced by a process that destroys embryos?

The dream team would seem to have a Freddie in their midst. I want to research this a tad more. But this is a serious issue. Not only for reproduction but I believe it would also hinder stem cell research advances.

    Where is the hypocrisy?

1 - Romney doesn't have to agree with all of Ryan's viewpoints.
    2 - Romney didn't use IVF.

It would be hypocritical if Romney had used IVF, then passed a law that would ban it.

In America, you cannot make "ex post facto" law.

To say that a new law would make a criminal out of anyone for something they did when it was legal is incorrect.

Otherwise, good spot on the hypocrisy of political liars.

I just hope you realize that Obama does the same. They all do. Clinton, both Bushes, Nixon, Carter, Reagan... they all told one story, then pursued the secret agendas.

JFK did not do that. In fact, he was going to give a speech revealing the secret society work to produce the main goal of theirs: establish a "New World Order".

Google "JFK Secret Society Speech". He gave a short version several days prior to his assassination.

Important note: Most people do not understand where the term "New World Order" originated. It is a command from Satan to his followers. It is found in the Satanic Bible.

How convenient for the conspiracy theorists that JFK died when he did.

Does the US really want to move backwards from the rest of society? ... other than the Taliban led ones that is ...

If Romney wins the election this year, we should all just apologize to England and beg for them to take us back.

We had an amusing problem with Anguilla in the Caribbean where we wanted to give them independence. The Anguillans revolted so they could stay in the Empire.

We would have no problem welcoming the USA to the Commonweealth but we are trying to get rid of our empire, not enlarge it.  So I think the answer is "Thanks but no thanks". Sort out your own problems, Mummy has enough problems of her own.
