    for easy reading.
    A soothening book perhaps.
I don't want tragedy or excessive violence. I prefer Oliver Twist to great expectations.
But a full comedy is always welcome or something that does like 'they happily lived ever after'. Or an inspiring or calming nonfiction.
    Thanks in advance.

Light Boxes by Shane Jones.  Really short and easy read.  He plays with the formatting and it is quite an interesting book!

Teacher Man, Author Franck Mc Court. He´s got a pulitzer prize in literature, a few years ago. This is a story about the authors´ teaching life in America. A very funny one. I love it!

Depends what you're into.  Fiction?  Non-fiction?  Biographies? (which can be a little of both)

If you like New Age, I'm currently reading Edgar Cayce - On Mysteries of the Mind, by Henry Reed for the second time.   It has a lot of really good stuff in it.

      There is no particular subject. Right now , I'm reading a novel(shantaram), a psychology book(thinking fast and slow), a story(zadig) and a biography(of Talleyrand).
      Thanks for your suggestion.

I was going to suggest "Shantaram" when I seen the title of this post but then I opened it and you gave more details.  What are you thoughts on "Shantaram", if you don't mind me asking?  I LOVED IT!  Definitely high on my best books list.  Have you read the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich, they are hilarious and very easy to read?

Thanks for suggesting. I've just started shantaram. So far Good, I'll tell you once I finish it, but it'll take some time as it is for pleasure reading and I'm doing some serious reading too.

Hello. I notice that your to-read list is already rather extensive, but might I suggest reading a little Neil Gaiman?
His works are mildly tragic at times and incredibly dark but very gratifying and often end in a very satisfying manner. In particular I would recommend on this occasion Anansi Boys.

Yes it has become too extensive now.
