      I totally agree. Culture plays a major role in creativity. Each culture has a sense of creativity that makes them unique.

   I think that creativity is based on individuals but some cultures encourage it more than others. Indigenous has a hub "Visual thinking" that I really liked.

   I think creativity transcends nationality. There are lots of ways to nurture creativity. Practicing your art and pushing your boundaries are good ways to expand, imo.

   I would say no. Creativity is what you make it. A picture, a song, a story. What is creative to one person may not be to another and it has been that way since the beginning of time. A book or song written today may not be as relevant 100 years from now but it was still created by the creator. Such as beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so too, is creativity.

   Personally, creativity completely runs my life...I'm a freelance writer, I do several handcrafts on the side, and my other hobby is gardening and landscaping. I think the best way to become more creative is to just spend more time on creative pursuits so you can get a good handle on who you are and how you want to express yourself. The essence of creativity is taking part of yourself and mingling it with your experiences and ideas to create something that no one else can quite duplicate. Because each person is different, their creative pursuits will all be different, as will the product of that creativity.
   
   As for the last question...I don't know enough about Asian culture to say which is more creative. I can say that in the United States, at least, I'm seeing a decline in creativity. Maybe it's because of the stress on work, television, video games, and this idea that any leisure time is wasted time. Creativity doesn't seem to be encouraged much in the schools and kids are getting more used to having everything handed to them in a neat little package so they don't have to imagine or be creative.

   I am always told I am very creative..... Most of us have creativity within us, and if we can share it, just as other people share their strengths then how can it be a bad thing.... It is obviously not the most important thing in the world, but you can communicate to children, and sick ones very well using creativity,theirs and yours....
