This is our first week of our re-designed new talent scouting program, which was once known as HubNuggets and is now called the Rising Star program.

This week, the Rising Star candidates hail from the Arts and Design, Games, Toys, and Hobbies, and Health Topics. Be sure to stop by those Topic pages to vote for your favorite candidates!

So, there is not a topic for poetry, just the how to do . . . hubs?  Is poetry not included in the Rising Star topics at all?  Thanks.

It's definitely up for the competition! Topics each week are selected by an algorithm that determines which Topics have the most high quality new Hubs written by new Hubbers, so whenever there's a good influx of poetry (within the Books, Literature, and Writing Topic), the Topic pops up. big_smile

I know poetry does not make a lot of money, but that the "how to do . . ." hubs are money-makers, so . . .  But to answer the question, I have commented on a hub I thought should deserve the award.

Yes, have read them and selected one that I found to be one that would be deserving as a rising star.
