Do you write strictly to a daily time table or have you no regime  whatsoever?

I keep trying to stick to a time table; but, I never stick to the schedule,  Most of my more popular hubs were written during those times that  I couldn't get to sleep and needed something to do.

I do not write on a particular 'schedule', however-I do write something, somewhere every day. I find if I skip writing for to many days in a row it is harder to get back on track! Since I write from home with a disabled hubby and a 5 year old granddaughter demanding attention, most of my writing is done early mornings or late at night. Though I joined the Hub community 2 years ago, I've only recently gotten back here and had to update and revise most my hubs to get them active once again. With a bit of attention each day I am seeing page views and ratings increase, hopefully income will also start to increase as well. I do freelance writing for hire on other sites so Hubs is a sideline that I hope to build for residual income over time.

No, I donĀ“t have time table in writing. My writing depends on what I am doing on that day or the next day. It could be in the afternoon or in the evening and of course it depends on my mood.

It sounds like your day is pretty much like mine Thelma.I always think that if you have too strict a routine and somethiomg goes wrong(which does every so often) then the whole day is spoilt. Thanks for replying Thelma.

For me it is more about whenever the mood hits me. If I force it, it starts feeling like stress instead of the thing that I love doing. There have been times when the mood has hit me and I just jot down notes on any available piece of paper, sometimes I am out and about and my friend the laptop is not around. I don't want to force a schedule which could turn my passion into a job that I hate showing up to.

I'd have to say, when I first started, yes, building up Hubs was important. Once I felt there was enough material, I could slow down which I've also done but now, .... not sure since a lot of hubs have been 'tossed' tongue lol

I don't have a time table either.  I have a goal of two hubs a week but other than that I let the muse creep up on me and whisper in my ear.
I spend inordinate amounts of time on HP but that time is not necessarily writing!

My writing time is slotted into the gaps of time that are left over. That is my intent, but not strictly true as it is my reward to myself for doing more mundane things and sometimes I write or read when the other thing need to be done.
