   My score went from 85 to 82. What does it mean?

      Rochelle is right, though, it's best not to worry too much about your Hubber Score and just focus on writing good Hubs.

   It means little or nothing. You are still fairly new and this is something almost all new hubbers ask. It will bounce like a yo-yo, and that is normal.  It looks like you have a nice variety of subjects. I'm sure you will be fine. Not to worry.

   Yes, it can be a roller coaster depending on many things, some of which we cannot control. But for the most part, since HP improved the calculations, it is generally a reflection of your work. So as Christy suggests, write more hubs. May I suggest that you add some content to your profile? I believe that is calculated into the hubberscore as well.

      To use HubScore as the main criteria for HubberScore is problematic.  The HubScore is a reflection of HubPages' perception of quality, not Google's perception of quality.  Some of my best-performing Hubs on Google search right now have HubScores:
      71, 73, 76, and 3 Hubs are at 78.
      
      These are all Hubs that rank high for their keywords and deliver great traffic from Google search.  It's reflective of the fact that HP's evaluation of a quality Hub is not in line with Google's evaluation. In my case, my HubberScore goes down every time I publish a new Hub because the QAP gives such a low score.  Fortunately for me, Google gives its own evaluation and doesn't slap a number grade on my Google+ profile picture.

         Makes sense when you refer to keywords, Writer Fox. But my experience is just the opposite: my best-performing hubs are all 90 and above, my least-performing, meaning least traffic, are all in the 70s. It should probably be taken into account that different hubbers write about different things and have different audiences. By the way, you're so right about the QAP thing. My hubberscore decreases as well after a new hub, but it does go back up.

   Is it not important to have at least a 85 or not listed on Google via Hubpages standards? I went from 92 to 84 so I feel that I am in a dismal abyss swirling into the toilet bowl of obscurity.
   
   But on the other hand I have almost reachd my 10K mark at 99,378 total views. Whoo-Hoo!

   This is insane. I have no idea why I dropped from 95 to 88 in a matter of days.  I don't know how to improve it.  It seems like even making comments has been draining my score. It's like a no-win proposition.

   It's normal for hubber score to fluctuate, there is no specific reason, but it'll most likely increase again. Also, for new hubbers, it grows rapidly, then falls down.

   I don't know... I think there is something weird going on with them. I had an 85; then just yesterday I published a Hub that was featured and it went down to 84. doesn't really seem right.

      They've mentioned in their FAQ that it's random, and we don't have to worry about it. They also said that we should focus on creating quality hubs, the score will improve over time. my score went from 85 to 82, then came back to 85.
