I was busy writing today and my son asked what I was doing. I told him that sometimes I write interesting things that I think others will want to read and I post them so others can read them. He got very excited and asked me if I would write about Pokemon. The boy loves Pokemon. I laughed at first then thought, "why not?" I am going to write an article on Pokemon for my son. This should be fun.
Very cool idea! I was a big fan of Pokémon when I was younger. Let me know when you've got it published
What a good mother you are Traci. I used to watch it with my kids when they were younger, and play the game. (Shh! don't tell anyone) I look forward to reading it.
That's so cool! Let him help you write the article and you can use it as a learning experience. Perhaps that will get him interested in and develop a love for writing.
That's so sweet. Have fun writing your article.
I like Pokemon. I used to play them on emulators. Sometimes, I'd stop Pokemon from evolving.
I'm a Pokemon fan, myself. I've been playing the games ever since the original Red/Blue came out back in 1997. They're nice, simple JRPGs that have insane underlying complexity. It's the kind of game that both children and adults can enjoy.
However, the TV series is a travesty that takes extreme(ly stupid) liberties with the games' plots and should pretty much be avoided at all costs.

We have actually had Pokemon "in our family" since 1998 when my daughter (who is now 19) really got into it. She actually still plays the Game Boy games, still has her card collection, etc.... She is actually the reason my 7 year old is crazy about Pokemon now. He wants a card collection just like Kaitlyn's.
Maybe Kaitlyn will eventually pass her card collection onto her younger brother, when she's sure he will look after them.
She most likely will, eventually. She wants him to be more responsible with the cards he has first.
Why not? I've written several articles about Pokemon, and they've gotten a fair amount of hits. It's a fun, cute series, and kids (and adults!) love it.
Maybe your son can try to read the article when it's done for reading practice?

Is writing hubs about making money or for the love of writing?I don't write hubs that will get me hundreds of advertisement clicks, I write because I love writing. Why do you write hubs?

How do you maintain a positive attitude and not give up on writing at HubPages? With the recent google changes, the virus alerts, and the viewer drops, how can a person stay upbeat and positive writing on here? I am beginning to question this.

I have noticed in the past few days while Hub Hopping and scanning my feed that there are a plethora of new hubs and hubbers joining the site and publishing low quality or poorly translated/spun hubs. When I click on the profile after flagging the hubs, I notice that there is no information about...
