STILL feeling quite languorous.   Just lazing around, reading, forum and question hopping.  Not writing ANY hubs right now.............Still on a LONG hiatus from hub writing, what about YOU?

I"ve been that way for quite a while now. My website is getting more attention. I haven't been getting as much traffic ever since last February. Google must have hit my account for something or hit Hubpages.

All my hubs that have been copied isn't helping. I'm tired of dealing with them.

I'm still having a bit of burn-out but have been trying to write. I am currently having a little family crisis so that set me back a bit. I want to get back to freelancing because I am broke and I want to finish the 7 hubs I have started...lol

Hey Grace! Hope you're having a nice relaxation.
I've been focused mainly on other writing projects this week and fighting a sinus infection.

Yes, I am LAZING around.   Thoughts are flowing but I just do not feeling like hubbing right now.  I hope that your sinus infection goes away.  Get better soon.

Next one-of-a-kind, magazine-type article I think of, I'm there. Unfortunately, any new teaching series of hubs ideas I might come up with would be dead in the water here now.

Lazing YET again.  I am supposed to WRITE hubs, not gallivant at the water cooler.  My goal was to have AT LEAST 500 hubs by now.  The summer is really getting to me.  Oh, alas again. Laziness begone......begone.......oh woe is me.

I'm packing.  A lot.  I have about a day left until launch.

I get some time on the Oregon coast, then I'm headed into the coastal mountains to do some camping and help stage a fire circle gathering.   The camping part comes with zero WiFi or phone signal.  The helping part means I got paid/comped to go by the event.  Being paid and cooked for, so you can help throw a party in the woods while the world goes through depths-of-summer-lack-of-web-traffic has been my preferred method for dealing with writerly summer doldrums for several years now.

The new camera arrives later today.  My first point-n-shoot with full manual exposure control.  It just doesn't get more exciting than that.

That I will come back in a couple weeks refreshed with new Hub material of things I really do (along with other people), and pictures of whatever it is being done or seen, is incidental.

I've just taken a different approach to hub writing rather than stopping completely.
I'm writing poetry instead of informative content which makes a nice change.

I've been updating/improving some of my existing hubs, but I haven't written a new one for some time.

I do intend to soon - when I stop procrastinating.

Same here.  The summer is so beautiful that I am out and about. When I am home, I am resting and watching Youtube videos on the paranormal i.e. The Most Terrifying Places in America and Urban Legends, especially the one about hellhounds.

I went through a phase of watching paranormal videos on YouTube, but I gave up because most were those 'jump fright' things where a screaming face appeared. After my sixth change of underwear, I gave up.

Would you care to give me a link to a genuinely creepy/interesting one?

I do not have any links but the ones pertaining to Clinton Road, hellhounds, hell, and the series A Haunting can be.............quite, quite, QUITE SCAWEEEEEE......

Oh, everyone gets into a slump every now and then, until inspiration pulls you from it.  I've been on forums for most of the day, although I'm trying to make a new circle of friends here on Hubs..ever since Squidoo broke my heart.

I wrote a hub about it, if you're at all interested in what Squidoo did to me..

but only if you have time, I know you're quite the distinguished member, and must be busy with elitist activities that are beyond me.  smile
