How do I know if my trackers are working?

    See header and below. I wish I did not need to keep asking questions.

    Can you set up the tracker to work with your profile page as well and ignore the method of using the share it button?

      You need to use the share button to get paid.

    So I guess since the Profile page lacks a share it button, that page can't be used to recruit new people through a tracker?

      As Relache has said, they can be made manually.

    Trackers can be manually put into any HubPages URL.

      If we have a blog and link back to our own hubpages, is it allowed to use the referral tracker back to our own hubpage. I am asking because I do check before doing any thing that may be considered in correct.

      Sorry - I have another question.

      I found this information but it is not clear to me what this means.

      "Your current token is StraightTalk. It was set about 5 days ago, and is not protected from replacement. If cookies are not cleared and another tracker is not clicked, it will remain active for about 4 weeks."

      Is only one tracker at a time active?

      How does that work if we have multiple trackers for different types of promotion?

      What does it mean for a tracker to be protected from replacement? Is it beneficial for it to be protected?

        That doesn't sound like any part of the HubPages URL tracker system to me.

          I get that quote from within the tracker system when looking for information on how it works so I am sure it is part of the system but it is confusing.

        Any particular web surfer that clicks on a tracker can only have 1 set at a time.  That message just shows what tracker you have set in your browser (usually the last one you clicked on).  This has nothing to do with how many trackers you can use for different kinds of promotions.  You can learn more about it here:
