Hub score and profile rating!

   What determines the scores of my Hubs? On what basis does my Hub gets evaluated? And of the profile rating, when I had a photo of a tree my profile was rated 73 and now when I put a photo of mine it decreased to 70? Why is it so? I mean, what's what and why?

      It fluctuates.  I can assure you that changing your profile pic had nothing to do with it.  Purely coincidental.

         I thought, that the team is taking serious actions to keep and promote green throughout the world! On a serious note, they should make a sample layout of how all these things work. It hasn't been a month in here for me but I have found many people asking the same questions. They should mention each and everything that is expected of a Hub writer so that they can also live up to  the expectations.

      Ma'am, the link you provided here did, help a lot but from a novice to a maestro is there any short cut to get to say 90-95 profile score?

         I suggest that you keep your eye on your income or traffic (depending on your goals), not your hubber score.

               If what you care about is traffic and/or money, you have a direct measure of that.  So why bother with some loosely related metric? My hubber score semi-sucks, and the better I earn, the lower it seems to get. So I decided which was more important to me pretty quick.

   This question is asked over and over again and there are no concrete answers to this question unfortunately.  If you are concerned about your hubber score work to improve and tweak your hubs, participate in the community more, hop some hubs - anything that improves quality and makes you more active tends to boost that score. 
   
   A large part of it (in my experience) is the average of your hub scores.  When you improve your hubs, over time those scores go up and then your hubber score will generally follow.

      You are very new here and do not have enough hubs by which scores can be adequately measured.
      
      Over time, patterns will appear that will help you to understand more about this tricky little topic that so many of us wonder about.
      
      Some things to think about that will help you are:
      
      provide good quality photos on each hub that are appropriate to your topic
      write a minimum of 700 words...more is better
      Write in capsules and use capsule headings that reflect your topic
      Add videos, polls and other types of items that enrich your writing
      Use perfect grammar, structure and spelling
      
      Take some time and do some hub hopping so that you can see what I am talking about.
      
      The more of these things you do, the higher your score will go.

      I should keep that in mind. As far as I have learnt unlike other websites and blogs, every hub we produce must be monitored and updated every now and then so that they would know that we have been spending a large amount of time logged in. Effort is needed if we truly want to achieve something but it all boils down to one question; money. I don't think many people have made a decent fair out of it. Is it really true that people get paid for real from here or just such a minimal amount that it doesn't even matter?

         If your only purpose here is to make money, you should know that, yes, people do make money here, but it takes a very, very long time before they do.
         
         It took me 2 1/2 years before I started making anything worth talking about, but the education I got here about how to write good online articles was priceless.
         
         To make money sooner, your work must be outstandingly good and then many, many people need to be able to find and read it.
         
         There are no shortcuts.  Sorry.
