I'm relatively new to hubpages so throwing off a few questions that I have on my mind. Once a article is published and featured how long does it take for it to end up on search engines?

    Thanks,
    George

Anytime between a few days and a few months.

You can boost views by posting to social media.  If you have really good pictures a lot of people get good traffic from Pintrest quickly.

    Hey George,

From what I see, your articles are already indexed in google and bing so that pretty much answers your question.

    Regards

One of my higher pageviewed Hubs took 3 months before I was getting any relevant traffic from Google. Another hub of mine only took like a week. You can also go here: http://www.google.com/submityourcontent/ and you can get to a page in webtools to submit your URL directly to the index.

I find it varies, I've had some show up straight away and others seem to take a few days.  When I make any edits that also seems to take longer but I haven't been on here long either so could just be me!

You can perform a search on Google to check your articles index status. Here's the search operator:

    "site:yourusername.hubpages.com"

Without "". It usually takes around 1-2 days depending on your hub quality and social activity.

Some hubs take only a few hours whilst others can take days and days, it depends on quality and whether or not Google values your site.
On Webmaster tools under Crawl Errors click on Fetch As Google and you can put your URL in for submission. Reading through the forums this seems to be one of the quickest ways to get indexed.
Some say that this Fetch As Google allows the original author to index faster which means that plagiarists and scrapers won't get the chance to scrape and beat you to the Google ladder, claiming original authorship!
It's a dark and mysterious world out there in Googleland. Best of luck.

Thanks for your tips but how I can add my hubpage account to webmaster tools because they need verification and we don't have any access to hubpage admin page.
