If you have a long hub and need to move capsules from the bottom of your hub, it is a pain. I finally figured out the box on the right of your hub in edit mode, Organize your content. Once the hub is finished, the headings of your text boxes and your Amazon capsules are right there. Simply do a drag and drop from the Organize your content box. It sure beats hitting the arrow for one capsule 25 times to move it to where you want it.
Oooh! Thanks for that tip, Linda, so much easier than sitting there punching that arrow key forever to move something.
Thank you Linda, for sharing a brilliant tip which I never thought of or know that it exists there. It's a good service by you.
You can also place capsules right where you want to so you don't have to move them. If you hover on the left of the column, you will see an icon that says insert capsule. Scroll down to where you want to place your capsule, then click "insert capsule". You can select the type of capsule you want to put there, and then you don't have to move it at all.
That's what I've been doing, when I think ahead. But sometimes at the last moment I think of something to add, and find I add it from the right side, instead of using the capsule. Just things we Squids have to get used to, but we're learning! (smile)
Most of us use this method. But Linda Smith's is also a very good one to organize the capsules even after your whole hub is ready for publishing. Here you get one more final choice for arranging them in a better way.
During the early stage of creating the hub, one may go in a rush to finish it quickly. Then he may want to or notice something mistake in selection or arranging of the capsules. So, easily one can alter the position of the saved capsules by organizing them.
Millionaire I have seen those but they were annoying. Actually I had no idea as to what they were there for. After reading your post I went back to a hub and added some content and product using your method.
Much easier to do it your way.
I find it odd that anyone is just seeing that feature. It's been there for years. If you came from Squidoo, it had the same set up
It didn't really have the same setup on Squidoo. We couldn't move ours without the sidebar...on HP you CAN move them with the arrow. We couldn't.
Depending on what I want to do I use all three of these methods to move content around.
I do prefer to add a capsule from the left though, as it's then exactly where I want it to be.
Having options is great, and I enjoy using HP's hubtool.

Is there a balance of Amazon products on a page that makes a hub overly promotional? Or is it dependent on the individual hub (over and beyond the 50 words per product)?

Authoring Hubs is about sharing and spreading ideas. Most of what we do is word-based, and a capsule to show off related Zazzle stuff would be an eye-catching way to allow readers interested in those ideas to buy products which celebrate them, such as relevant designs, graphics, statements,...

Hi When editing my hubs, in the 'Add More Capsules' section, I have noticed that the word 'Comments' is in grey, while all of the others are in blue ~ and I can no longer 're-order' the 'comments' box. Is this the same for everyone ~ or is it just me?Thanks

How do you like to prepare for a hub?Do you like to write out an outline on paper first or start typing straight away?

Had never done a “sales” hub before so decided to try. Have tweaked and tweaked this hub but it still keeps on being not featured due to quality. Getting a little T’d . . . http://geminifox.hubpages.com/hub/Green … t-Friendly- Have every single one of the “goal” (attributes) boxes ticked off...

My most recently snipped hub is about a specific product that is not readily available in stores. It used to have an amazon capsule, but that was deleted courtesy of HubPro a while back. Made no sense to me at the time because I've had multiple sales through amazon for that product, but I didn't...
