Hey all, I'm new to hubpages and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for me to gain some interest in my articles. I think they're interesting lol but I'm not getting much feedback from readers. All I want to know is if people like what they read or don't! I hope they like, but again, no feedback, so who knows.

      welcome to Hubpages.
Do write on the topics related to your knowledge, talents or interest.

As for me I love cooking, so I write more on baking cookies , cakes and stuff.

If most of your readers are find your hubs via search engines, FB, Twitter, Pinterest, etc. then they are not so likely to leave comments or feedback, which is why you might be wondering how your audience is receiving them.  Generally the only people who leave comments are other HubPages users.

I'd say the number of views you get and their sources are the best gauge of how good your hubs are.  If you get a lot from search engines and social media sources, then you know you're reaching a wider audience and doing a good job.  It takes time to get consistent views from these sources, so don't worry.  Also, if you set your comment settings to allow feedback from anyone (not just logged in HP users) you will increase your changes of getting more engagement.

Here are two things in the Learning Center that you might find useful.  One is a guide for creating what HP considers Stellar Hubs, and the other is how to set up Google Analytics so you can get more detailed stats about your traffic.

      Best of luck to you.

First of all, welcome to HubPages!  Glad to see you here.

Interacting with other hubbers on their hubs and in the forums will get you noticed some.

Of course, continuing to build your portfolio here helps as well.  More to read, more exposure.

A suggestion is to throw up an icon if you do not want to put a photo up, that way you do away with that "spy" looking shadow. smile  I always feel that "person" is a shady character. Not you, but that particular icon that seems to come up automatically if one does not have some kind of profile photo or icon up.

Welcome to HubPages.  You can see your feedback on the feedback page:
    http://hubpages.com/my/hubs/feedback

The best way to do well is to simply continue to write more hubs.  You will get noticed over time.  Patience is the key.

To get more community interaction, you need to interact with others.  This means if you want people to read and comment on your hubs, you have to read and comment on theirs.

Welcome to HP.  Like was mentioned above, patience is key.  But for more practical advice, go visit the Learning Center, try to model your hubs using the given templates.  1000+ words, minimum of 3 legal to use pictures, through in a quiz, poll, or video too so that you can increase engagement.  Then share it with your social networks (Twitter, G+, Pinterest, etc.)

Read and comment on other hubs where you can find great advice and even some inspiration.... Spend more time writing and not so much time in the forums.  You can post links to your hubs only in the Hub Challenge or Improve Your Hub forum threads.

    Other than that.... Have fun.

welcome to hub pages. Its good that you want to garner more exposure for your hubs but that is not possible unless you do not follow minimum guidelines, like minimum 1250 words, proper use of photos, videos, quiz, etc. Be a active commenter and start following others. When you will comment on other hubs, chances are high you will be noticed by other. Keep patience and slowly you will rock!!!!
