   Hi there, friends! Today I'm very excited to announce the first winner of the monthly Editor's Choice bonus. (Each month for the next year, a different Editor's Choice Hub will be randomly awarded $50 as part of our recent Editor's Choice Upgrade.)

    Hi Christy. I followed your link to the first lucky hub ... and have come back with a suggestion for you.
    
    With all the talk about the qualifications and professionalism of the new editors, it seems appropriate to have at least one of your editors take a look at your random winners before making the announcement and subjecting them to scrutiny by other hubbers.
    
    I'm not suggesting for a moment they should rewrite the winning hubs, but it would be helpful if they spotted errors like 'spoonfulls' and 'Snicerdoodles' and advised the hubber to make corrections.
    
    When you brand a hub Editor's Choice, you imply the hub was selected by an editor ... who presumably read it and awarded their personal seal of approval. As I recall, the EC initiative began before the announcement you had editors on board. However you do have editors now, so I hope you'll ask them to proofread your next 11 random winners.
    
    Having said all that, I am happy for Julia and offer her my congratulations.

          No. In fact I'd never heard of a Snickerdoodle either before today. Maybe one made of Snicer would be nicer.
          
          Although I can't imagine eating anything called a doodle!!

             Actually, the hub recipe indeed is redundant. Everyone knows if you put 2 doodles alone in a room, the next day you will find half a dozen.
