Why is there advertising typical of porn sites?

As I was answering gmwilliams concerning Hilary Clinton's candidacy I couldn't help noticing this invading advertising with women flaunting their tits (sorry for the language but it only inspires me triviality). Now, hubpages slapped me verbally several times because I dared download pictures of suffering children in times of war, of nuclear bombs exploding, of deformed children as the result of a nuclear reaction, of Gustave Courbet's the birth of the world because probably of higher morality standards and here there are playing the soft card of pornography. What is it? Either the website is trash, either it is not, no double standard. Your opinion?

My opinion is that you should take it up with Google.  HP does a bang up job keeping our adsense accounts for us, and the morality of the issue is up to Google.

If you idea of porn is more prudish than Google's (or less), then that's where you need to start your quest; not with the HP crew.

Indeed. Always here to defend your wallet. How much do you get?
That's true HP is never to blame when it is their mistake. You are telling me that they are impotent when it comes to manage their advertising department? Sure. But they can censor me with shocking images of our daily violence. They are afraid to "shock" their customers but if it is soft porn, it is ok...
If Walt Disney thinks it is normal to call a mountain in one of his cartoon "missile" mountain, I guess HP can soften the angles with introducing subliminal porn.

No, I'm telling you that HP does not censor outside of what they believe necessary to follow Google's guidelines and protect our adsense.

And that that is exactly how I would wish it to be: censor only as necessary to maintain the business in operation.  Not because Maxoxam41, or anyone else, finds something objectionable but only if Google finds it objectionable, which will close HP entirely.
