I have been editing and tweaking hubs like crazy the last few days. Naturally, this means that they all go through QAP again, with the spinning arrow-circle indicating that their status is still pending.
All but one have since been returned to featured status, and that one seems to be "stuck."
That is, the little spinning arrow is not animated/spinning. It's just sitting there, and I wonder if this indicates a problem in the system, as I've never seen this happen before.
My last hub did not have a spinning icon, so it may be something new. Good luck.
I have no idea of any spinning arrow. What is it? Do you refer to the page loading circle that spins in a new window when you enter any url?
No, Venkatachari M,
In your list of hubs you have written, any time you write a new one, or edit an old one, they go through the QAP (Quality Assessment Program). While this is happening, on the far right hand column opposite that title, you will see a circular pair of arrows "chasing" each other around and around.
The thing we are talking about in this thread is that those arrows were seen to be not spinning, but stationary.
But, I never witnessed any such thing till now. I simply know that after some hours my hub becomes approved automatically as it passes QAP. The only thing I see is it shows the H word in a round dark circle. I did not see more than this ever.
But, thanks for letting me know. Next time I may like to watch this criteria, if I sit for some more time after publishing my hub.
It shows up as soon as you have hit the 'publish' button, and is in the same place where the "H" in the circle will show up after approval. ;-)
I know which icon you are referring to, MsLizzy, but it does not spin. I see it on my account page to the far right in the status column on the new hub line immediately after I publish a hub. I have never seen it spin.
I haven't seen it spin either. I have a habit of sharing my new or revised posts via FB and email so I get traffic right away. That seems to speed up the QAP process.
Interesting, Phyllis--
It used to spin all the time--the two arrows chasing each other around the circle...like the "working" cursor type of thing... How odd.
I have seen this with one of my hubs.I had to make some changes to my article but once I did my score on the article improved but the Spinning thing was still not spinning. IT took a couple of days but it was finally featured.

I would like to know what does it mean, when there's no any icon on the featured column? Like no any featured or pending marks but the article is published online and ads are also posted. Thanks!

Why can't I hub hop?I really want to do my part as a community member here, but every time I try to hop a hub, I get the message "working" and cannot answer or rate anything. Next to the "working" message I have the cog spinning and no matter how long I leave the page open it...
