    I suppose mine would be to put mustard on a hot glue gun burn. That hurt!!!

    Yes, it did hurt quite alot. That was back when I worked at Home Accents making wreaths. I was told it would take the sting out.

      Yeah, I got sick once and had a bunch of canker sores in my mouth (teenage stuff lol) anyways, my boyfriend told me that if I poured salt on them, it would feel better. yikes

    I have two worst pieces of advice vying for Number 1 spot, and they both came from so-called lawyers.  I won't go into it.   mad

    "If you'd just relax you won't feel a thing" is right up there near the top, but the absolute worst piece of advise I ever got (and followed) was to stand up for myself and my boss would respect me more. He respected me right out the door. Can't say I wouldn't do it again (or haven't done it since) but it's ultimately pretty stupid when it comes to job security.
