Give more time for submission of hubs to a niche site.

I think it's unfair that we can submit only one hub within 60 days. The mail from the site says your hub is not selected and asks to make changes. They do not specify what changes they need. Even if we make changes, we have to wait another 60 days to resubmit it. The time to resubmit or submitting another hub can be shortened to a month. That's what I feel. What do you think about this? Please comment in your views and opinions. Thanks! ☺

This does not mean that you cannot publish a Hub.  HubPages will move it to the appropriate site themselves, often within 24 hours if it complies with all their requirements.

No I can't. It says you already submitted an article in the last 60 days. Try again later on November 8

You can, just publish it as usual.  Don't add it to the niche site, just put it on the main HubPages site.

I have written 6 hubs till now. All of them are published here only. I meant resubmitting for the niche site.

You are new and still learning.  Probably those first 6 Hubs are not quite good enough to meet the requirements.  As you learn more, you'll get to the point where you can write a Hub good enough that HubPages will transfer it within days of first publication - which means you don't need to worry about submitting it.

Also, if you keep improving your existing Hubs as you learn more, they will eventually get to the point where they are good enough and may be picked up by a moderator anyway.  They are constantly looking for older Hubs they may have missed.

I'm going to make a comment on a couple of your Hubs with suggestions how you can bring them up to the right standard.   Please don't approve the comment, just read it and then delete it - it would be silly to leave it on the Hub once you've made the improvements because it would no longer make sense!

Are you saying that  you submitted a hub to a niche site, and received an email from HP saying that they like it, but it needs a few changes? In that case, you can resubmit it again as soon as the changes are made.

No, they just said my article was not suitable for Bellatory.com.
They asked me to make lots of changes and that I should try submitting it to PetHelpful.
Thank you for your valuable comments Sherry. ☺
I still need to learn a lot.

Salina, most new hubs are selected automatically for the niche sites by HubPages staff if they are considered suitable. If not, don't worry about it too much. Just write the best hub you can and publish it at the main HubPages site. It may be selected to move later if it is popular and attracts a lot of traffic.

Oh, I see. So if the hubs are selected automatically, does HubPages inform us about that via mail? Thanks for your comment and time Jodah. ☺

Yes, they always send you email notification that you hub has been selected for a niche site, or is being considered but needs a few changes first. That is how most hubs are selected, not by people submitting them. That is why we can only submit one every 60 days, because it is only a secondary way for them to be considered.

It would be super fantastic if we could submit to niche sites more often. Ideally, I'd like to see it where once your submission was accepted you could submit again without any time limit. If you get rejected, then you have to wait.

Like when the coach throws a challenge flag in football: If he's right he gets another one.

But judging by the time it is taking to address submissions under the current guidelines it seems there is a logjam for some reason. That's just the way it is and I'm fine with it. I'm sure they would move up the time frame it were reasonably possible, and maybe they will in the future.

For now I'm just happy HP offers the submissions option at all.

60 days is quite a fair time otherwise a lot of people will suddenly bombard them with submissions, so submit only when you think that an article is of good quality and can bring significant views.
