    Hi Hubbers,

I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my Hub Remembering the loss of a Dearest One - A Tribute to your Spouse with quotes on Death. What can I do to improve? Thanks!

This hub of mine is unfeatured since more than 6 months due to quality and traffic- both reasons. I recently tried to improve it by amending the starting paragraph and by the input of some Bible quotes on Death. Even then, it is not featured. There are no grammatical mistakes as I have the Grammarly app to check all those errors.
      Any help please?

It is such a heartfelt piece, I would not change anything. But getting it published here will be difficult because it is so personal.

You could rewrite it as a 'how to write a tribute to a lost loved one' page and use some of your personal experience to illustrate the points that you make, but would  that serve you or your wife well?

There are memorial sites online like this one: http://never-gone.com. I do not know if there are any Indian versions.

Thanks for your feedback and suggestions, Will. My point was to write a sincere tribute to my wife and be a guide to those who really lost their loved ones and want to write or express their feelings with a true heart. But, I had to include some more extra points only for getting it featured. I do not want to disturb the main purpose and content of this hub. I will look at the site proposed by you or I can put it on my own website titled Lifestyle Tips.

I just read your tribute to your wife and thought it was beautiful. On the first line you wrote, " Quite easy job " You might write, Quite an easy job. I hope it is published soon....

Thank you, Ruby. I will look at your suggestion and make the correction and any other such trivial mistakes. Thanks for your concern and well wishes.

I think this could mean much to anyone who has lost anyone, which we all have and I am sure there is a way to make it featured. I would move up the part "Accepting fact and Coping With Death of Your Souse" to the very beginning with a photo 1st just over that. (Photos are so important as a starter I think) The story is very interesting and well you should begin with that. Maybe it seems how to write a tribute would go first but I think it could be added lower as sort of a foot note or in blue casing to the right below your main story adding something more than personal but your story I am sure will pick up readers more quickly.
I am very sorry for your lose. Hope you will try this and I will come back tomorrow and share whatever you have decided to try.

    I agree with Will.

Unfortunately, HubPages does not want purely personal articles.  That Hub means a great deal to you, but means nothing to people who did not know your wife.  So it is not appropriate for publication on HubPages.  I hope you find an appropriate venue for it

Thank you very much, Marisa. I feel much support and relief from people like you who can understand human values and emotions. Shall I keep it unfeatured here and also publish it on my own website? As I have featured it as a spotlight hub on my profile, I hope some of them valuing my feelings may view it occasionally.

It depends what you want to achieve by it.   I am guessing it makes you feel better to have published it, and it does not matter to you whether it is listed on Google or makes money.  In that case, it is fine to leave it unfeatured.

True, Marisa. I am not for making money. I just wanted that people should love their spouses and notice all the good qualities in them instead of feeling tense at trivial weaknesses or misunderstandings. I would like to leave it as it is unfeatured. Thanks for your nice advice.
