   Did Jesus die a natural death?
   
   Some believe that Jesus died a natural death, some believe that he ascended to heaven unharmed and still remains there and will at one point return, some believe he died a natural death and he has already descended in similar form to that of John the Baptist and Elijah (meaning that his advent is in the shape of a different person).

   I place my belief on the Bible. Jesus was crucified and died on the cross. He rose again three days later and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He is alive and will come again for His church(believers).

   There were eyewitnesses to this event. The writer of the gospel of John was one of them. He saw Jesus die. Others laid His dead body in a tomb. Joseph of Arimethea and Nicodemas did this. When the 4 gospels were written,many of these eyewitnesses were still alive to support the facts. The stories of his ascension without dying are fictions. The angel in Acts 1 told the disciples Jesus will return in the same way as He left. Again, this was recorded by Luke as eyewitness testimony. Other accounts are later fabrications based on imagination. When Jesus returns in glory, there will be no doubt.

   Note: Jesus Christ, the Son of God sovereignly orchestrated his own torture and death on our behalf long before the world was even formed at the hands of wicked religious leaders and Roman soldiers.

   No where it is written that He died a natural death..His blood had to be shed in order to buy us back from the fate of eternal death

   Jesus died a natural death because Jesus was a man.  He is God, but He was a man on the earth.  A sinless man.

   If you call crucifixion a natural way to die then I suppose yes He did die a natural death.
   
   I, on the other hand, would call death by crucifixion one of the most merciless forms of torture and death that vile fallen mankind has yet devised and therefore most evil and unnatural.
   
   As for the mainstream Christian confusion over His resurrection, this stems from the their mickey mouse ideas that He rose in a bodily resurrection and not a Spiritual resurrection. Do these deluded wretches ever get anything right? NO!!!!!!
   
   John the Baptist and Elijah are dead in their graves, like everyone else, awaiting the resurrections.

   For the jewish nation in those days crucifixion was a natural way to kill wrong doers (sinners). He did die a natural death but I suspect that's not what you mean. Jesus rose again after the third day. As ceemos says above, Quoting the scriptures.. John 15:13  Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
   ("No man takes my life from me. I willingly lay it down for the sheep." Jesus Christ.-Ceemos states it).
   Jesus knew that he came into this world for that cause and this was the only sign He told the world that He would give to prove He is the Son of God, so yes He had to die a natural death to demonstrate this.

    Jesus died because He gave up the ghost on the cross.  The wages of sin is death.  Jesus did not sin so He could not actually be killed.  While on the cross he stated, "Into your hands I commend my Spirit."  It was at this point that Jesus actually died, simply because of what He said.
    
    "No man could take His life," is another statement He made.  How many times did the pharisees and priests try to kill Him, and yet failed each time?

    If by natural, you mean, did he die with his body weighing him down as three rusty nails infected his bloodstream and he baked in the hot Middle Eastern sun then yeah, that was as natural a death as you can get. It would be decidedly unnatural if he hadn't died from it and I'd be terrified at the prospect of what the Romans would do to a guy that they failed to kill in so public a display.
    
    Did Jesus leave his tomb. Yeah, I believe that to be possible, yes.
