I think it is best to let a person answer for themselves if that is possible.  In this case- Jesus said the following about himself:

    John 14:9
Jesus answered: "Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'?

    John 10:30
I and the Father are one."

    Hope this helps!

It all depends upon which Jesus you are referring to?

If it's the papist long haired effeminate looking wimp with his girly malnourished look and pathetic goatee beard then he is neither God nor a guru, but rather the facade or public image logo for their money making Christian religious organisation. He or it is the focal point of their 1900 year marketing plan or campaign!!

Having said that, the True Jesus - the masculine He-man Jesus, or to use His correct title The Lord Jesus Christ is God - the second member of the Duality Godhead.

The Son sits at The Father's right hand in heaven.

He is God and many gurus want to be like him

De:5:7: Thou shalt have none other gods before me.
Isa:51:15: But I am the LORD thy God, that divided the sea, whose waves roared: The LORD of hosts is his name.

Jesus is not a Guru or the Almighty God. He is the Son of God and so he tells himself.

About John 10:30, there is a few more things to compare with.

He also said in Matthew 19:4-6

"And he answered and said unto them,  Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them man and female,
And said,  For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife; and they twain shall be one flesh?
Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man put asunder."

We don't believe that they become two person in one! But they should be like one in forming a good unity and working for the same purpose.

And Jesus also said in John 17:20-22

    "Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through theire word;
That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us;  that the world may believe that thou has sent me.
And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one."

He wanted them to be united for the same kind of thingking and working for the same purpose as Jesus and his father in heaven. And he gave us the pattern to try to copy.

    My Dear Sweet Friends,

Jesus is and was no different than any man born of a woman.  His life and death was the God sent example, the Last Adam, for all men to follow.  Jesus was the living expression of God in actuality.  He achieved expression of the divinity that is the God in each one of us.

We art each called upon to achieve the same consciousness of our individual divinity.
