What do you do if an unauthorised person/s are using your Adsense ID?

   I use the "allowed sites" function in Adsense to list the pages that I've put my Adsense on.
   
   Today an exclamation mark appeared with the notice that an unauthorised site had used my ID. They gave the IP address of the site, and I put it into my browser, and a Chinese site came up, which I can't read as it is all in Chinese characters (and Google translate had difficulty translating, so it might be Japanese or Vietnamese characters, i don't know enough to tell).
   
   I'm guessing that they copied an entire page using the source code, and my adsense ID was in there.
   
   My question is what are the implications and what can I do about it? Has anyone else been in this situation?

      Yes me , and Ive gone from earning a little to nothing , yet Ive got 6 red arrows (one is double arrows) I cant make sense of alot of adsense..

   Eaglekiwi, I was talking about an unauthorised Chinese website displaying my Adsense on it without my persmission.
   
   I can't tell from the Adsense Help facility what to do about it. All they say is "If a site or URL displaying your AdSense ad code is not on your Allowed Sites list, ads will still show on that site or URL, and impressions and clicks will be recorded. However, advertisers will not be charged, and you will not receive any earnings for that site.",
   
   which is great because it means no advertiser will get hurt because of this Chinese site.
   
   BUT - does this hurt me at all? Do I need to contact Google to let them know?

      Sorry I dont know enough about this to comment except to say I have read something similar.

      Best bet is to get in touch with adsense now.  that way you have a record of you being proactive and letting them know about the problem.  Just because the clicks are not being recorded does not mean you should let it go.

   contact google as soon as possible with the website using your ID. your adsense can potentially get cancelled in situations like this. You'll want to make sure that you tell them all the sites thaty ou have authorized your ID to be used (hubpages and any other website you may have or are writing with).

   The whole point of the allowed sites list is to protect your AdSense account from potential abuse by other sites.   There are two big reasons Google shows you the non-allowed sites: 1) in case you forgot to add one of your sites to the list, and 2) so you can see who might have copied your content.
   
   I don't think you need to take any action, but it obviously won't hurt to let them know either (but in a sense they already do know).

   One more question - how do I contact Google? all their emails to me have been the adsense-noreply-uk@google.com type and I can't see any contact details on their webpage
   
   Does anyone know of an email address for them where there is a person at the other end.
