The fact that the democrats seem to be determined to drag this nation into socialism. I love my country, and the left acts as if this is a horrible nation that is not worth helping or saving.

i'm with sherri. and if we stop that trend, we can fix "gnelsons" dilemma. how many of us know that this government spends $330 plus billion on illegal aliens? how many know we lose another $150 plus billion on revenue by allowing some immigrants tax free status for 5 years?  we are at 1/2 a trillion right there. and it all comes out of social security. that affects our seniors, disabled and poor right here in our own country.
why not tell your elected officials to stop the madness and start upholding the law. stop paying the illegals just for being here and most will go home. the ones who stay are probably working and that helps us. get them on the roles and let them pay their way as we do. write to them, call them, go to town halls or anyway you can think of, let them know how you feel.

"Whatever your cause, it is a lost cause without population control."

That means muzzling the religious wackos against family planning, spaying, birth control, and ABORTION.

Too many people is a major (but not the only) cause of wars.  Wars have been and will escalate over resources -- land, water, fishing grounds, etc.

But, not to worry.  The ability to wage war with high tech will disappear as the insatiable appetite for resources such as oil and rare minerals increases with increasing population and strips easy access to them.

Or, we could just drown in our own sh*t.  It COSTS money and RESOURCES to handle waste.

BTW, the reason millions of people here, Haiti, wherever your favorite wogland are starving is that too many people are dropping litters of spawn with no thought of how they might raise and feed them.  Boo, effing, hoo.

I believe that access to education and opportunity is vital to building and maintaining a stable democracy, particularly for students who have disabilities.  I advocate every day for my students and provide educational opportunities that they would normally not receive. It is so important for their development to participate in the mainstream because they build up their self-esteem through authentic achievement.  By the end of the process, they discover that they have the skills and knowledge to succeed in college and in life.
