   How many soul mates can one person meet in their life? IF ITS ONLY ONE IM SCREWED... I WAS TOO...
   
   YOUNG TO NOTICE, NOW ITS TEN YEARS LATER, AND IM STILL NOT OVER HIM, AND EITHER IS HE, YET HE IS MARRIED..... AND I REFUSE TO EVER GET IN THE MIDDLE OF A MARRIAGE...
   SO WILL I EVER FIND THAT FEELING AGAIN? OR DO I JUST SETTLE, FOR SOMEONE????????????????????????????

   OMG! There are more soul mates not only one for everyone of us, for sure. Time of "Romeo and Giulliette" is over. Only if you want to be Giuliette without Romeo or Penelope waiting that her Odyseuss get divorsed one day.

   There are over 6 Billion people on the planet.
   My guess is there is more than one person in the world for any one of us to fall madly in love with.
   However to find new love you must be willing to let go of past love. An ex is an ex for a reason.
   Broken relationships are like broken mirrors sometimes you're better off leaving a broken mirror alone rather than getting cut trying to fix it.
   
   You can't get to 2nd base if you keep one foot on 1st base.
   10 years is an awful long time to cheat yourself out of finding new love. Had you and your ex been actual "Soulmates" it would have been impossible for him to marry someone else.
   Don't make the mistake of getting into an affair or becoming a booty call because of fond memories.
   The future lies ahead of you, not behind you.

   You never just settle for someone, then you will only be stuck wondering if you missed out on finding your true soul mate because you just settled for someone out of hopelessness or of fear of being alone forever. It might take weeks, months, even years but when you find the person you truly connect with, the person who was placed on this earth to find you, you will be thankful you did not just settle for the person you were not meant to end up with in the first place. I have been hurt too, but I will never give up on true love, I assume the only reason it did not work out, even though I still love the girl with all my heart today is because it was never meant to be in the first place. I only wish it did not take me 3 years to discover that, but at least I know I have the chance to still find the person who I know is out there wondering the same thing as me, and I can only hope one day we get to walk hand in hand

   but soulmates come and go until you meet your twinsoul.

   It's been my experience that soulmate or not, when you try to go back with someone from the past, and try to relive or pick up where you left off, it doesn't work. It might be that you are fantasizing this ideal of an old flame because you are a romantic at heart. What happened between the two of you is already in the past, and any attempt to bring it back might leave you with a sour taste in your mouth. Think of it as a beautiful time in your life and let it go. That's what I would do.
   And yes, there are other soulmates (men) who will appear in your life to sweep you off your feet. :-) Just give it time.

   When we got married we were asked the question "could you only ever be happily married to each other".  We both answered yes.
   
   The person asking said that isn't the case.  There could be 10 people who you could be happily married to.  He said just remember you have choosen your current partner.
   
   So to answer your question based on his advice (and he has married hundreds if not thousands of people), there are many people who could be perfect for you.

   There is a lot of difference among attraction, infatuation, liking, love and being a soul mate  of someone. We often fail to distuingish between all these. At times love can  also fade with  the ups and downs of life but to become and to be a true soul mate you can not surrender  before the complexities of life and need to prove that you can face every,.........thing for the person you love but can't lose him for other things. So I believe my friend, this view point of mine would help you to understand and analyse whether you are screwed or at the right place with the right person.

    I believe you cannot have just one soul mate. You have a bunch of soul mates for each and every aspect. For example, My brother is soul mate for advising me on things, my mom is my soul mate for loving me unconditionally and one of my friend is my soul mate who shares my interests in things.

    You must know your Soul and what it wants to confirm if your choice is right ....
