   The U.S. version of "Life on Mars" was developing nicely when it got the ax by ABC after 17 episodes in 2009.

   Star Trek (TOS) ~ Of course, if it hadn't been cancelled so abruptly, maybe the fans wouldn't have remained so loyal to what seemed a lost cause.
   Buffy the Vampire Slayer ~ It was on a number of years, but there was so much more that it could have been done!
