What do you usually bring with you when you are invited to dinner at a friend's house?
Wine. I ask the host or hostess what they would be serving for dinner then bring either red or white wine or sometimes, both.
A apple custard pie. Otherwise give your friend a gift. A small or medium sized statue made of glass is good.
Some chocolates (and often chocolates someone brought for me!! Because they bring me those Godiva chocolates that are pure butter!)
Generally a bottle of wine.
Or Ice cream.
If a lady is in the house (wife of male friend or just female friend) some nice flowers.
I always asked what's needed,if nothing required I still bring a pairing of dessert and a dessert wine.
Pies, cakes, tarts, chocolates and wine are great after dinner treats.
Usually a rumbling stomach and conversation................... and then I'll dig out a bottle of red..
It depends on the host. For most occasions I bring a bottle of wine. For some I bring desserts and for those who insist that there is no need for me to bring anything, I bring flowers. I always bring my appetite.
A dessert which my friends love to eat, but sometimes it´s a bottle of wine.

Have you ever disliked someone out of loyalty?Maybe this person hurt a friend, sibling, or co-worker in some way (but) they have never been anything but kind towards you. Should your friend's enemies be your enemies by default? Is it (mature) to allow your friend's experiences with someone to...
