Yes, you do because other wise there would be no use for a relationship when there is just turmoil and discontent instead of happiness that everyone deserves.

No, I can not make what is already there, but, I can make sure, that none will come and take it away. I can keep it safe, I can protect and nurture and I can share, but, I can not improve, on that which she made within herself.

Otherwise, why I should have relationship with him?
Sure, I should do my best to make him happy, & I expect the same from him.

Yes!  I love to help others and I love to give in my relationships.  I give 110%  they tend to do the same.

hopefully you are making them happy knowing what they like & don't like without having to try hard .
There is more happiness in giving than recieving especially when it is someone you love !

Well, you can't make someone happy if they are not.  But in a relationship always tried to do things that are kind and considerate for your partner and they will likely do the same.

Good question! I think that when you are in a relationship, you ideally make each other happy just by being together.  If your partner is having a bad day, you should want to cheer them up, and vice versa.  Sometimes it is easy to make each other happy, and sometimes you have to work at it.  If you partner is dealing with serious issues, it is not your responsibility to change them, in fact you should realize that you cannot be responsible for changing another person! But you can be a support to them, as long as making someone else happy does not diminish your own happiness.

yes of course, why go into a relationship if you cannot make your partner happy.

I will do all my best to make my partner happy. It gives me joy the see my partner happy because of me.

Yes, absolutely!  I'm always on the look out for things that would make my husband happy, and I know he works hard to make me happy too.  Otherwise, there isn't really a point to your relationship.  Really, any relationship in your life should be one that makes you happy.  If you're putting a lot into a relationship and the other person isn't then you should stop that relationship.

depends on if you love that person. Love is inbuilt with the nature of serving and with the relationship of love you want him/her to be happy as your only aim.
