IF YOU WERE TO ACQUIRE A LARGE AMOUNT OF MONEY, WICH WAY would you rather have that happen and come

If you were to acquire a large amount of money (suddenly or not), which way would you rather have that happen and come to you - from your work (hard or not) and accomplishments or from something like a gift or inheritance (unexpected or not) ?

Either way would be acceptable.  I'm not proud.  If I could inherit a large amount of money - or, receive it as a gift - that would be just as good as having received it for my work.

I hope that the work I do will pay off some day. I wouldn't turn down a large inheritance, but if I'm going to be rich I'd prefer to be rich because of the work I've done.

I just want to be able to live. Gas is $3.19. I gotta find a job closer to me so I can afford gas to get there. I would love to deserve the cash. If it takes me a while to make it, so be it. But if some how it happens over night, heck yeah. To me, money is money.

I don't care how it happens. Having the money would be nice either way. However, I am not against hard work to get it!

I'd prefer to have done the work so that I can take some personal pride and satisfaction in having gotten my family to that point. That said, anyone who'd like to give me money is welcome to do so -- and if anyone reading this wants to, I'm sure I could figure out how to set up a webpage with that lovely little "contribute now" button from Paypal wink.

Through hard work. Imagine in my case, getting a milllion views for each of my 50 plus hubs. Not  counting 100,000 clicks from Google and Amazon. Do the math and that equates some nice money coming in.
In fact, I would rather that it comes through hard work, because you appreciate it better. You get to be cautious, knowing that it represents the fruit of your labor. When you work for something, you appreciate it-At least in my opinion!

I would prefer if it came from work. Even though getting a large sum of money would definitely brighten my day, having had earned it would make it ten times more valuable. Plus, I'd probably be less inclined to blow it off on some extravagant vacation since I would have known how hard I had to work for it.

I would not have a preference at all how or where it came from. Of course, I would feel like I had more bragging rights by working hard and earning it.

I want to earn it by hard work coupled with God's blessings. I want to spend it by helping God's ministries..

Well, I believe that hardwork brings it's own rewards to boot when you see that it generates money also. There's not quite anything like knowing you did a good job AND getting rewarded for it.

As a public school teacher I'll never earn enough money that would be considered a large amount.  With prudent saving I could have a nice retirement next egg when I'm old.  So I would prefer to win the lottery or have a genie give it to me, so that way I could enjoy the money while I'm young.
