   I think fear is a vital fundamental part of being a human.  Therefore it is good.  We cannot deny ourselves fear, nor can we suppress or ignore fear and if we so much as try, it comes back to haunt us. 
   
   Fear has a very misguided and incorrect stigma for being evil and bad.  But is isn't and it keeps us alive. 
   
   I believe (from my own personal experiences) that the suppression of fear is one of the major underlying causes of illness and disease in today's society. 
   
   Fear deserves our respect, courage and acceptance, whether we like it or not.

   To fear is to be human.  And you'll probably write me off for saying it, but God says "Never fear," which is a command.  God understands that humans are naturally afraid of lots of things- but he gives us the courage and confidence to overcome them.

   Generally speaking there is only one good fear, the fear of God. This isn't fear that He will harm you, but a fear of reverence, not wanting to offend Him in any way. According to the Bible, if one fears the Lord he hates evil.
   The Bible admonition as far as general fear is "Fear not!" That simple phrase is used over 300 times in the Bible. The New Testament instructs us not to worry or be anxious either. The reason we should distain fear, worry and anxiety is that we should be trusting God instead. He loves us and will keep us safe if we put our trust in Him.

   It is BAD.  It also tell smuch about the person that has the fear.  FEAR is only due to lack of knowledge and understanding.

   Fear can be either good or bad.  It depends on how you react to your fear and why you find something fearful. 
   
   Fear is usually something that is unknown, or something with a negative stigma about it.  Sometimes it's nice to take a look at the feeling, how it feels when you fear something... then, take a look at how you feel when you're excited about something.  It's the same, the only difference is how you perceive the thing that you "fear".
